What is your biggest concern for the 2005 season?
My never to be humble opion; The effectiveness of Bledsoe and the passing game. Will Bledsoe continue his hardhead way of holding onto the ball too long, will the recievers stay healthy?
Close second biggest concern. How fast will our young defense grow -up? I see them giving up alot of big plays early in the season.

My biggest concern for this season is Witten's health. If he goes down for any extended period, it would send a ripple effect throughout the entire offense and not in a good way. Teams will be able to stack against Jones even more without a receiving threat at TE, we'll then see more 3WR sets early, compounding Bledsoe's opportunities to make mistakes and exposing RT even more.

The defense will be fine by the middle of the year, almost every other position on offense has depth that's not a huge drop off in production ability from the starter but Dallas only has one "receiving" TE.

I must say that my concerns also lay with the Offense. While I am not concerned with Bledsoe per se I am concerned about other factors having an effect on his play.

Our RT situation could also affect Bledsoe's play. While I think Jacob Rogers is a fine lineman and will play well I have had concerns about his ability to hold up for the season since I learned about his shoulder injuries. The tweak that his shoulder received in TC only heightens that concern. That would leave Vollers who is serviceable but not great and a rookie; a promising rookie but a rookie non-the-less. That could come back to bite us you know where.

Also I am concerned about our WRs with Key and Glenn getting a bit long in the tooth and Glen being particularly susceptible to injury. While I think Crayton is a true talent we would still lose something in speed if Glenn goes down. Morgan has the speed but he just doesn't seem to 'get it'. Copper did not really impress me last year; while he had some nice catches he also had some drops that I thought he should have caught. Beyond that we have Merritt who also has speed and seems to be having a nice Camp but he is still an unknown. So I think we are too old with the starters and too thin in the ranks below them...but we shall see.

QB: Bledsoe - aging and not very mobile. No backup
RT and OL depth
WR health and depth

I think this season is going to rise or fall on Bledsoe and the OL.

I'm sure the defense is going to have some growing pains, but I'm looking forward to watching them and the infusion of all the young talent.

Juluis Jones! If he is healthy we will be fine. If he plays 16 games the way he played the last 7, we win 10 games minimum.

That no-one gets injured carrying Coach Parcells off the field at the superbowl.Maybe that's why he's slimmer and trimmer. :laugh2:

My biggest concern is the O-line, on paper it looks good but we have seen in the past where the line was being talked about as the strong part of the team only to turn around and play poorly. This unit must cut down on penalties this season

My biggest concern is to be able to get out of the house for 3 hours every Sunday so I can sit my lard butt at a sports bar and catch the game each week.

qb to wr combo- without glenn last year the deep ball was void- hopefully crayton, glenn and morgan can provide adequate deep threats to keep 8 men out of the box and keep bledsoe from getting blitzed over and over again-

if teams dont fear the big pass on some level than they can load up in the box to stop the run and to blitz the qb with little worry of getting beat over the top...

Obviously injuries too- close second

I'm worried that if the defense plays well we'll never hear the end of it.

Well, that's not necessarily true if Romo gets into a game. :D
