Like the title says::If you say Guyton or Smith you're a smelly, illiterate moron.

Who is 1) the player you want to breakout?

2) Who do you think actually breaks out as a Cowboy either from being a backup to FA, UDFA or someone who isn't an obvious shoo in

I want Schoonmaker to breakout big time. I think this offensive personnel suits his style well and he also suits his teammates' potential well. If Schoonmaker played to his absolute ceiling, this offense could be deadly

I think Jayden Blue breaks out as a rookie 5th round pick. It's just all there. You don't have the size. But the speed, balance, and shiftiness is there. Guy is nimble like Achane.

I think Juanyeh Thomas breaks out. In some ways he reminds me of Bill Bates, hangs around and hustles himself into a starting job. Training at the NFL level could pay off for a guy who was already pretty athletically gifted. Just needed to train and hone in his instincts to the next level. I'm glad Eberflus seems to be giving him a shot.

I’m hoping it’s Blue because that’s what the offense needs the most.

I don’t expect Mazi or Guyton to surprise anyone this year.

I have a player, but I should not get it started. :muttley:

Can we just say the entire OL (yes it includes Guyton) And I do not mean that the be facetious because the OP mentions fans being moronic. Fans are not illiterate, as the must be able to read to respond.

Needs to a RB, most likely Blue. Get the running game going, all else falls into place.
That is why I mentioned the OL. Run blocking, and pass protection.
Run goes, so does the passing game. Get a lead, and maintain it. then the defense can do it's thing.

This is not a JAK thread!!!!!!!!! and even if it was sir, it's time for him to show us why he's the highest paid QB, lead us to a Superbowl, and quiet all the haters!!!!:muttley::muttley::muttley::muttley:

How about Markquese Bell....Itll be his 4th season in the league, showed some promise (before it got ugly) as a LB. Its not like we have two all pro safeties that will keep him off the field if shows he is ready, plus with some depth concerns at CB to start the year it wouldn't surprise me at all if we utilized some big nickel packages over a standard nickel CB to get Bell on the field a bit more.

I want Guyton to break out, he is going to be key to the offense. if he sucks like he did last year, all the moves we made are moot.

I think Beebe is going to take it to another level. be at probowl level center.

I want a bunch of players to break up. Beebe, Schoonmaker, Flournoy, on offense. Sam Williams, Kneeland, Liufau, Juanyeh Thomas, a young DT on defense.

If I was pressed for 1 it would be Sam Williams.

The plyer I think has the best chance to break out is probably Kneeland. I would say Mingo but with Pickens on board I think Mingo will see limited opportunities.

Ah, that was supposed to be a joke. I agree with OL. But I also think the LBs need to do well. I think they will.

He kind of did last year. Most of his problem is people just look at receiving numbers. Schoon is too far down the food chain to ever put up big numbers.
He's a 2nd round pick. He should have every opportunity to supplant Feguson.

"want to breakout" would be one of the two rookies who needs to start for us, so Booker or Revel.

Who I think breaks out. Based on reading this board and what many posters expectations on here seem to be: Sam Williams. I think he will be second on the team in sacks (he was 3rd on the team two years ago in his second season) with 6 plus and possibly 8. As a point of reference if you don't think that is breaking out, only 27 players in the entire league had 8 sacks last year so less than one per team.
