Frank Reich, OC for the Eagles would be someone the Cowboys should consider. From a good coaching tree and organization, youngish, former quarterback, well-respected-- basically he probably actually is what Jones thinks Garrett is. And he might even take the job to get a start.

Keep McClay as the Director of Player Personnel. John Schneider GM (Belichick wouldn't have it: he'd promptly fire Schneider, then become de-facto GM and no one would argue).

Mark Richt. Was a very good QB Coach that turn into the Offensive Coordinator at Florida State. Then took over at Georgia as the Head Coach from 2001-2015. Now back home at his alma mater as the Head Coach of Miami Hurricanes and is a win away from being in the college playoffs after beating Clemson later on this week. He has had several winning seasons and won several bowl games under his career. Only issue is, like Harbaugh he is back home where he started at many years before.

Prying either away will take alot but unlike Harbaugh, Richt has yet to put his hat in the ring of the NFL. A possibility for the right team or situation.

Take the entire Patriots organization and swap them with the entire Cowboys organization.
Stadiums too... no more talk about "glare" because some genius architectural firm neglected to

Now that you mention it you’re probably right. If we got rid of Garrett I could see him totally bringing in a head scratcher. Jerry only steps back and brings in big name game changing coaches when things are really bad and fan hype is at a low ala parcells hire after campo seasons. I don’t think he thinks the team is near that bad yet. He’d probably at best bring in Jeff Fischer.
