I agree - a classic movie figure. It's hard to watch Dennis Quaid in Wyatt Earp after seeing Kilmer play the role.

Kirk Doublas played a good Doc Holliday in the old Gunfight at the OK Corral.

I know The Alamo (the original) may not be the most historically factual version, but it is far and away the best movie of the bunch, and one of my favorite movies of all time.

There was a lot more truth in this movie than others made. It showed the flaws of these men. And the death of Crockett after the battle came from a Mexican soldier who witnessed it.

Like I said, the original movie may not have been as historically accurate ..........

I just think it was the best movie of the bunch

There is not just one. There are actually two. I hate to do this because John Wayne is one of my all time hero's but, I have to be honest, the best two, IMO, are Augustus McCrae and Woodrow F. Call.

I also really like this guy.
