Your favorite DC.com Writer?

For me I enjoy reading all of them just to get their own take, really same with media who cover the NFL in general. However just like coming here I don't agree with all of them but still want to hear their views good and bad.

I read Eatman's book, 'If These Walls Could Talk' and enjoyed it immensely but Helman is catching up to him imo. Spagnola is my least favorite.
Eatman and Phillips. Don't mind Spags at all, he's nearly as sarcastic as I am

It was kinda cool when BB first joined. He would actually banter a bit on the old boards when he first started. Then he over-hyped Bernadeau and got booed off the boards. Totally disappeared after that

Eatman is the best. Helmen has grealy improved during his time. Mickey is solid in the right situation. I remember when the Dallas Times Herald went under he was the one writer I wanted the DMN to pickup but they didn't. I respect that he managed to carve out a career in this market despite that.

I don’t read anyone on Jerry’s payroll. Not regularly anyway . I’d recommend beat writers from Dallas Morning News and Ft Worth Telegram. That’s who I’ve followed since the 60’s.

For real. This guy is wasting his talents. I don't know how many times I have to say it for it to sink in...
It hurts me personally...
Agree... with the passion, attention to detail and the fact every thing is very well thought out and on point. Yep, he really would be a very good consideration. If he keeps posting someone will eventually find him. It only takes one.

It's already taken one.

If i have to pick one I guess Helman but tbh it's state owned propaganda he works for.

Over the years i have liked JFE, Breer, and Sturm best but either they leave for a national stage like Breer or they get corrupted by the sports media industry and stop being informative and go for controversial tabloid.

I cannot stand the DFW area sports media industry. I'm not sure if it is the producers, owners, editors, or what but they turn good journalists into hacks.
