Hurd?
Made a nice play on the Romo pass. 2 facemask penalities...not good.

Skyler Green?
Unspectacular on punt returns, but also didn't fumble. No better than Crayton. Not sure if he's worth the roster spot just yet.

Miles Austin?
2 ST tackles (that I saw anyway). If that's all he's asked to do, may be worth activating for another game.

Crayton?
Finally showed up and had a good game (welcome back). Didn't miss him in the return game (tho, his replacemrnt didn't fare much better).

This was Green's first NFL game plus he just got activated few days ago so probably feeling his way. Hopefully he'll do better next week after a whole week of practice.

Has better hips than I thought...I'll take him over Hank Basket, for sure.

Skyler Green?

I got a major kick out of this kid..from the way he stood alongside Bill on the sidelines explaining himself to his overall lack of nerves - he strikes me as sharp, energetic, and potenially extremely electic.

Miles Austin?

He was super pumped after one of those tackles. He's another one with 'intangibles'.

If he stays healthy, he will learn so much from Glenn and Owens this year, he'll be set for life.

As far as Green goes, it looked like he nearly muffed every ball that came his way. Lurching forward to catch one, fielding one on the hop with defenders in his face and so on.

To his credit he did let one go into the endzone by doing a great acting job. For the most part he looked like a trainwreck waiting to happen today, just like he did in preseason (I got to see all the games).

He must look really good in practice as much as Parcells favors special teams. He just doesn't look comfortable at all, to me, back there.

Hurd, despite the dumb tackles, was in on alot of ST tackles.
He played well in the passing game, made a great adjustment on that pass from Romo.

Romo played well in his limited role. Not sure what to make of it. I still am not sure he could go into a nationally televised game against NY and live up to the hype we are giving him.

Green didn't mess up. It's not like he had loads of room to do with most of those punts. Leaves something to be desired, but lets see how he does now that he has those first few NFL punts under his belt.

In fairness it was his first ever (real) NFL game.

Lets see if he calms down next week.

Burnett had another great game. It seems like he's always around the ball, whether or not he made the tackle.

It may have been his first real NFL game, but he looked the same way all pre-season. As a matter of fact, Parcells cut him at the end of camp. He cleared waivers and went to the practice squad. He just makes me really nervous back there. Hopefully he finds his groove.

I was hoping that they would have hannded the ball off to Green when he was in at running back for that one play. I wanted to see if he was a better running back than reciever.

Has Akin Ayodele made ANY plays this season? I don't hear his name called but i see him get beat for big gains, his coverage skills have made me shudder.

I need to see more from...

Spears....Canty....Ware......

great run defence......pass rush sucks....

playing straight up = no pass rush.....

and Bill wants his defence to man up and beat them....

and where is Carp again?

Is it me....or do I expect too much of 1st round draft picks?.....except for Canty who will stole in the draft...

Crayton has good hands. He's clutch. How many 3rd/4th downs did he snag today?

I wont blame Hurd for the 2nd facemask penalty. At the time, he was trying to stop the Houston guy from getting a Touchdown and he had to bust his butt just to catch up to him. The first one was pretty dumb and dangerous too.

Agree, that first face mask was very bad. He might get fined.

Akin is leading in total tackles. Not many big plays though-about what you would expect from a mlb in this defense(not much blitzing).

Although he is not really a "youngster" Crayton is someone that we need to get involved when we can, he is clutch whenever the ball is thrown to him. It seems that he is always there for that clutch 3rd or 4th down catch. I would like to see more 3 WR sets with quick throws to Crayton and TO.

-Green looks 'electric'? Is that what you meant? Are you kidding -- he looks slow as molasses for a guy his size just like he did in pre-season. I thought Crayton looked quicker -- which isn't complimentary.
