Some of you may or may not know, but I moderate another Cowboys forum on DallasCowboys.com.

I was asked today to gather input for the stadium production staff on what kind of music folks would like to hear at the games. Specifically when:

We score a TD

Team runs onto the field

Pre-kick off

Halftime

Things of that nature, and anything else you can think of. There's a great number of folks from across the world here and please relay your thoughts and observations on what you've seen in other stadiums of any sporting event.

I did make sure to include from the start that our video board needs to educate our fans on home field advantage. Specifically that we need to quiet down with our offense on the field and get nasty when their offense is on the field and especially on 3rd downs. I suggested a pregame introduction on the video board for this as well as video board reminders during the game.

Team runs onto the field: Anything but Disturbed, love the song...way over done.

I really miss back in the 90’s the music that was played when the Cowboys Offense would move down the field or get a first down. Sounded like an orchestra (trumpets) music. Bring that back!

Just use any current music and throw the Jock Jams DVD out the window!

Also, to get the crowd loud, i think using a sound meter graphic is always a good idea.

Gun N Roses, Bon Jovi, Ac/DC, and the original Van Halen would be a good starting place.

Rock is so predictable. . . .

Ya gotta move on and examine world music. World Music as it exists in Texas: Mexican, German, Bohemian, Cajun, Country (of course) bar hall R&B from Lubbock, tropical Texas, Piney Woods rounds.
Texas Music = World Music, so play it in Texas Stadium!

"Welcome to the Jungle" for player warmups to let the other team know where they are.

Otherwise, just put "who let the dogs out" on loop :laugh2:

I gotta tell ya, I have always thought War Pigs by Black Sabbath would be a great intro song. It has air raid sirens in the background and I think that would be a cool way to announce the Cowboys aerial attack.

I also love N.I.B. because of the intro and Iron Man up until the "I am Iron Man" lyrics. All of them get your blood pumping a bit.

Most games are on a Sunday (the modern Sabbath) and it just seems kind of cool to me to warn the other teams and fans that there's is about to get Black and blue.

I'm kind of into symbolism with intro music.
