Put them here, draft junkies.
However you want to do it. If you want to guess what the Cowboys will do, go for it. My 53 is not so much a guess, but what I would do, personally (without the benefit of knowing who will play what on STs. I'm giving my 53, and a little reasoning, if it's not obvious.
Quarterbacks (2)
Prescott
Grier (I say Grier, because I think he's better. And I heard McCarthy say he's taken the lead at backup.)
Running Backs (3)
Zeke
Pollard
Davis (I take Davis over Dowdle because he has more upside. Davis reminds me of Pollard insofar as he was also a part-time back in college who didn't carry the full load for his team. More of a power back than finesse, though. No way I keep a 4th when I can stash Dowdle/Shampklin on the PS. If someone poaches us. Oh well. I'll find another RB next year.
Receivers (5 for now until Gallup returns)
Lamb
Fehoko
Tolbert
Brown
Turpin (James Houston sounds nice, but there's not enough space for him behind Fehoko, Tolbert, Brown. What would he do when Gallup returns? In any case, you really don't need 7 receivers and you can get by with 6.
Tight Ends (3)
Schultz
Ferguson
Hendershot (More upside than McKeon, overall. Hendershot has an 8.4 RAS, so he's got more athleticism, even though he's a tad smaller. If Ferguson or Schultz get hurt, you still need a well-rounded TE and I think Hendershot is a more complete player, and likely a better STer, too. Place McKeon on the PS, as a veteran.)
Offensive Line (9)
T. Smith
T. Biadasz
T. Smith
Terence Steele
Zack
McGovern
Farniok
Empey (perhaps the Cowboys go with 2 back up centers, given the headache the middle of the OL was last year. Plus, Farniok can play guard. You can also release one when Gallup/Washington returns.)
*Waletzko (swing tackle if healthy. If not, we'll have to find a vet).
Cornerbacks (6)
Diggs
Bland
Brown
Joseph
Lewis
Wright
Safeties (4)
Kearse
Hooker
Bell
Mukuamu (Mukuamu is better than Wilson, in my opinion. And cheaper. Plus, do you really need 5 safeties?)
Defensive Ends (6)
D-law
Dorance
Fowler
Williams
Basham
Tafua
Defensive Tackles (6)
Gallimore
Bohanna
Oddigy
Hill
Golston (It's either Golston or Ridgeway. I'll take Golston. I honestly don't like Ridgeway, whatsoever. Overrated.)
Linebackers (6)
Parsons
Barr
LVE
Cox (I could go Cox or Gifford here. Neither are very good at this point)
Jackson (STer who looks better than Gifford)
Jefferson (Key STer, Jefferson keeps the seat warm for Clark)
Special Teams (3)
Anger
Kicker (hopefully not Maher, although it's him right now.)
McQuade
Note: I read a source that has an in-house source who's uncle at the liquor store says C.J. Goodwin has lost a step and may not make the team.
Put that brick-footed loaf Ridgeway on IR for next year. Don't hold back the team for some stupid Razorback alma mater nonsense.
Maybe Devin Harper needs a hamstring pull, too, because I think your better defenders are Jackson and Jefferson.
