Your thoughts going forward?

How many of you have traded in your fan card because of the Zeke signing? I understand some are against the contract, but some said some harsh things around here. So, if you're still here, you are a fan. If you're not, you can't answer the question. This thread will probably self destruct in 10, 9, 8..........

I was never butt hurt about Zeke's holdout, although I've questioned the business aspect of it. Frankly I still have trepidation about a big financial commitment to him (or any RB for that matter), but it's really not my problem.

The Cowboys wanted him, they signed him, so let's go win some football games.

My thoughts? Time to eat!

That was a bump in the road, although a tall and wide one, but I never thought he would sit out because Booger could not stand it. What the hell, why have a team if you can't get them all on the field and play the game?

I don't like the business side of the game and truth be told, he doesn't like it either. There's still business to be tbut real football is < 100 hours away.

And what's with the threats to leave? Hell this team brought in Sanders, Owens, Jones, McClain and Hardy, Elliott ain't nuthin' new. The first TD he scores, all will be forgiven...…..until the first fumble.
to err is human. to forgive is divine. rhetorically speaking.

My thoughts, well it is not concern over some of the detractors have not been heard from. Or I just have not seen all the posts. But I didn’t really look at the thread of his official signing yet.

But my real thoughts are I am ready for the game. But will enjoy watching the Bears kick Rodgers butt tomorrow night first.

Who would be trading in their fan card . Was a fan 50yr before Zeke and will be one after he is gone . I think the only thing people were really against was that him not keeping his word and getting his money early would jeopardize our ability to keep other talent along with the fact his off field crap made him a bad risk .

That said if there wasnt a Cap to deal with nobody would care what Jerry paid him . He is certainly not my favorite Cowboy but he signed before the real games started hope he is in shape .

At this point we need to get a good return on the investment made no excuses . He holds the distinction of now being the highest paid but least marketable RB in the league

I'm talking about the ones that said the were done with this team if they gave him a big contract.

Not turning in the card but I do wish the bad guys didn’t win. Zeke shouldn’t have held out with 2 years left. Especially after all the trouble he has caused. His reward was a record contract. The only way that makes sense is this team wins it all in the next couple seasons.

I didn't. was I unhappy about hold out? yeah, but its business. I like to see the best players on my team. including zeke. money side is the money side and doesn't bother me. given there are no guarantees in the NFL (or less of it) compared to baseball and basketball, its the one tactic the players have and owners don't mind it. because most players won't hold out.

Same as it ever was
Same as it ever was
Letting the days go by, won't let this **** get me down.

Let's go Cowboys:)

The reward was for leading the league in rushing. These owner use these guys up and spit them out. Good for him.

I expect a slow start but tough wins. Hope for health and victory, kick butt...
