I thought it was a dirty hit until they ran the replay...clearly it was totally unintentional as indicated above.

Here's what worries me:

Glenn is supposed to be healthy and ready to go. He draws a penalty; he gets knocked down unintentionally and walks off without even a limp.

If we're so afraid of a guy who hasn't played a snap all season getting hurt, what does that say about what they really think of T.O. being ready for the playoffs? It bothers me.

just to prove my point about the lack of quality from a fox broadcast...

this was the shot they were using while whining about glenn....saying this was glenn on the sideline.

You tell me, is it hard to tell the difference between spencer and glenn? oh and landry had no intentions of hitting glenn on that play, he was sliding, no harm in that.

The facemask and player size should have been the giveaways, if nothing else.

Thank you!!! I saw how that SOB slid, and he INDEED did come up. He could of stayed flat, and continued to slide forward on his stomach. The intent was there....

On one angle it looks like he did it intentionally, but on another angle it looks like he was sliding.

Also, there was another play where Hurd caught a big first down where Landry went for his knees as well. Hurd's back was turned and Landry dives at his knees, but luckily Hurd turns at enough of an angle to avoid having his knee hit by Landry's helmet.

What a witchhunt...he clearly was trying to get an INT. Which is obvious when he gets up and claps his hands together in frustration because he couldn't get it. If he was trying to take Glenn out, why the frustration?

Stop the bellyaching.

I could see how the mistake was made though. From that shot, the coat is covering the lower left part of the number, and I guess you could possibly see it as an 8 instead of 9. Either way, it's rediculous NBC couldn't at least catch this.

It was on Fox not NBC and yes they were poor.

The hit was not cheap so you are right on Landry.

However, you have to understand just as some of our fans whine about things "thought" to be offenses, Gibbs constantly whines about the officials after every game we soundly beat the Skins in so it seems.

At 9-7, I would hardly gloat over a game that was fairly meaningless to the 13-3 Cowboys. You would have to notice a completely vanilla approach on both sides of the ball from Dallas.

Your team was initially in NEED of the game just to survive, we were not.
So, you would do well to be modest, your team has not exactly had an outstanding season. :star::starspin:)

hm...anyone think this was a game changing play? before this point, we were stilling thinking we could win. after this point, we were 100% invested in not getting hurt? or the romo sack?

I guarantee you L Landry will come to be known as a dirty player. He's already demonstrating that trait.

Because he slid on a wet field while his head was down for 5 yards into Terry Glenn? Get real.. At least he tries to make a tackle unlike our overpaid bum whose daddy is Chris Cooley and Jeremy Shockey.
