HOW DID LEONARD DAVIS FINISH 12TH?

Bigg was steady as he finished 13th in lost yards ratio and 15th in run blocking. Again, he was probably stymied by the presence of Julius Jones.

FRED WEARY, 1ST?

1st in yards lost ratio and 8th in run blocking ratio.

SHAWN ANDREWS, 18TH?

Andrews finished 2nd last year, so I think if he's playing well or bad, it shows up in the rankings. He was 15th in yards lost ratio and 21st in run blocking ratio.

Did you bother to see if MB did any better before blaming it all on JJ?

I think Barber's YPC vs. Julius' YPC sort of nails the door shut on that one.

Did you BOTHER to check the plays each had and where they ran and see how much difference there was- the obvious answer is NO.

It's not available. Do you actually think that the team ran the ball nearly as well with Julius as they did with Barber?

yes, Julius is done.
BUT I still think that this is not all his fault either. THAT is why I think the breakdown of all run plays between the tackles would show that a lot of the positive yds was MB3 breaking tackles or moving it outside. I really doubt that Yakuza is right in blaming all this on Julius.

I agree. While I do think MBIII is the better back, JJ was certainly stymied by the lack of good runblocking at times.... I also recall an inordinate amount of good runs he had which were called back due to penalties.

Also remember several games when Julius had 2-3 really good runs but stupid offensive penalties killed them & eliminated those runs.

I'm just hoping that Hudson Houck really works with our OL to improve their run blocking. I can easily understand why our OL might have been more mentally & physically focused on protecting Romo since essentially we passed to set up the run and most of the season was very successfully at doing that. But in the playoffs you gotta be able to do both big time; just can't be one-dimensional.

Wait a minute, that can't be right. Didn't we make a huge mistake in letting this guy go? Now that he's healthy isn't he one of the better OGs in the game?

I missed that the first time. Good catch. Maybe we gave up on him too soon.

19. Jason Fabini Washington Commanders

Now this is the guy who has surprised me all season. He sucked with us but has played well for the Commanders. The only thing I can think of is that we used him at RT and they have him at RG.
