31. Gorin/Petitti St. Louis Rams
32. Chris Terry/Svitek Kansas City Chiefs

HOW DID COLOMBO FINISH 21ST?

He did very well in pass protection (only 4 sacks), but did have 10 false starts. That put him at 13th in yards lost ratio. He finished 25th in run blocking ratio. The Cowboys were excellent at runs at right tackle (finished 2nd), but were 31st in runs outside of the right tackle. If you remember, every time Dallas ran a pitch play to the right, it usually failed miserably. Plus the runs to outside of the right tackle get the O-Linemen out in space and that's not a strongsuit of Colombo or Leonard Davis.

Well our line needs to get alot better from the rankings you have presented throughout the day. Hopefully our new line coach will fire them up.

agreed, for the amount of money we have tied up in lineman, they should grade out much higher. i for one always thought Sparano was overrated. Hopefully HH which whip them into shape.

How about maybe that while I think its clear we are not a good run blocking line, we are a VERY good pass blocking line.
And frankly, I think this type of evaluation is not exactly accurate.

They need to get better at penalties because they Romo didn't get sacked much and it would make them that much better. Getting Julius out of here and putting Barber as the starter should help quite a bit. And for the love of all of our sanity, STOP running the pitch play to the strongside. It fails almost every time.
