- The game was rather anti-climactic since the G-Men won their game. I know they'll say 'how could they play Romo?' IMO, this team doesn't deserve days off given their up-n-down efforts and what happened to us in 2007. However, we still didn't know the outcome of the G-Men game and when we did Romo hurt his hand. As everybody likes to say 'it is what it is.'

- McGee didn't look very good. I think the game moves too fast for him and I think he has an average arm at best. He plays a fairly conservative game, so it would keep the game somewhat close, but I think we really need to look at backup QB next year as one of our bigger priorities.

- This team is better suited against the G-Men than the Eagles. We don't have enough team speed on defense and our corners can't tackle. Two things that we'll need to address in the offseason.

- Offensively, I see our problems starting with Costa and Kosier. Holland is actually playing well for us. Free is a little up and down, but he just seems to struggle against elite pass rushers. Anyway, the Eagles defense fits well against us because they can split out the DE's which gets one-on-one's with our OT's and then they can can blitz and stunt up the middle and Costa and Kosier can't handle it.

- I thought the defense didn't play all that bad. They just couldn't quite wrap up Vick and Newman...stick a fork in him.

- I look at the Bruce Carter block as at least he has special teams skills. I still have confidence in him, but if he's a bust on the field but a great special teams player, at least we got something out of him.

- Not much left to say. But, it's gut-check time for this team. Hopefully, they'll show how much they want to win come Sunday.

Tyron was struggling real bad early in the game with pass protection, then he seemed to settle down which was good to see...he was getting help late from Bennett chipping before he went out on his route

this game will be won in the trenches along with the play of Romo and Manning

The Bruce Carter block didn't really surprise me. I was pleased to see he was out there, and I actually called the block to my wife before it happened. You see, I watch a lot of UNC football because my wife went to school there. I wouldn't watch it otherwise. Carter was a special teams ace in college, and blocked a lot of kicks at UNC. That was his forte back in college, and he has a long, outstanding history of blocking kicks.

I believe McGee is a serviceable starter if he goes through a week of preparation and a game plan is established for him. What he cannot do is come into a game cold with no prep and play well. Might be time to look into a vet backup and draft someone to compete for the 3rd QB spot.

I agree.

You have to remember he was going up against a fierce pass rush and he did not have a consistent running game without Felix and Murray in the game.

He did okay - protected the ball, made plays with his feet.

He will not be Romo's heir apparent but he is a decent backup.

It seems that McGee doesn't trust what he sees. When they showed the replay from the skycam behind the play, you could see guys coming open on their routes, yet McGee hesitated. It's almost like he needs the guy to be wide open to throw it to him. If he's ever going to be a good NFL QB, he needs to improve on this. I felt he did better with this in the preseason, but being on the bench most of the season has put him right back in the position of being too conservative.

McGee's accuracy was really lacking. Balls high and behind all night. I like him on the move, but he still needs a lot of work.

Outside of Valley Ranch who really knows about McGee? I do know we have far greater needs on this team.

Hard to tell what McGee is since he was running for his life and playing from behind the whole game. Dont think he is any worse than the guy who went up there and beat them the end of last year.
