6-4, 228-pound senior quarterback for the Miami RedHawks

Dysert has passed for 8,530 yards in his career. . . . In 2011, Dysert started all 12 games as Miami’s quarterback and threw for 3,513 yards (second on MU’s all-time single-season list) and 23 touchdowns. . . . Ranked 11th in the country with 292.8 passing yards per game and 17th in the country with a 65.9 completion percentage. . . .

Chad Reuter of the NFL Network and NFL.com compares Dysert to Roethlisberger. “He does not possess the two-time Super Bowl winner’s elite arm and bulk, but Dysert still has enough of both, along with athleticism and deft passing ability,” Reuter wrote.

He looks like a guy we could get in the 2nd round too.

NFL teams will hate that low release but at the same time it is VERY quick. He just flicks the ball.

Saw that Walterfootball's latest mock had us taking Dysert in the 3rd.

Looked him, I really like what I saw.

Would be an ideal replacement to sit on the bench behind Romo for 2-3 years
