Cowboys ILB Zach Thomas, who can be a free agent after the season, says he fully intends to play football in 2009.

"I'm going to weigh my options this offseason," he said when asked about a return to Dallas. "I'm still enjoying the game. I'm healthy." Thomas didn't like how he was used in the Cowboys' scheme and figures to test free agency.

I don't blame him for wanting to leave, not only was he not used like he wanted but he had to be apart of the circus of clowns called the Cowboys. I would try to leave too no matter how much it would pain me being a Cowboys fan

I agree with you guys: he's a solid guy, always has been and always will be. But I do have to say: how did he think he'd be used in a 3-4 scheme? It doesn't play to his strengths. Heck, I still think he can play, but as others have said in a 4-3 where he has some nice, stout dlinemen protecting him.

As far as I know, he never actually stated that he didn't like how he was used. That may just be editorializing by the author.
