Zach Thomas. Kind of small for a 3-4?

I've read some Zoners saying they wouldn't mind ZT coming to Dallas but doesn't conventional wisdom say that 3-4 backers need to be on the big side? He's only 5'10".

Wade's 3-4 covers up the LBs more like a 4-3, and some small LBs are just the exception to the rule because of instincts, shedding ability, and strength. Phillips has had success with Sam Mills and Donnie Edwards playing the weak inside linebacker in his scheme.
