Someone posted a linkt to an interview with Zach and he was saying how great it is to play for the team with the star... "look at the star on the helmet"...... he then said "it feels weird".... but it was like... he didnt feel like he earned it yet... THAT excites me.

First defensive play of 2008... Zach blasts the ball carrier after about a 1 yard gain.... I mean... real, real hard!

Another older vet, let go just a little too early, that still has more than a half tank of gas left.
Out of all the available players his age at the time we signed him, he was and still is, by a wide margin, the best available.
Zach Thomas might just prove to be the biggest immidiate impact FA/rook on this team!

That was sweet!
The funny thing was that MB3 didnt even use the stiff arm in that play, the defender just ran into the side of him and MB3 was like a tree. :laugh1:

I sure hope you're right, but I fear he's one good shot to the head away from forced retirement.

That said, I did see a TV interview with him recently, and he definitely looks like he's bulked up.
