Will be cut as soon as the game is over, he is only here because of Roy suspension.

Good special teams/FB player. At this point I would cut Tyson Thompson and keep Crockett rather than cut Crockett next week when Roy returns.

Bingo! I like the sound of that idea, Hoyt isn't doing the job to me...

When he was in his prime, and Oakland was doing well, he was the short yardage guy. But we have Barber (even though he isn't as effetive as people think in short yardage).

Probably just going to play ST though.

cutting tyson would be a mistake, especially cutting him to keep a 34 year old FB.

I dunno, I'm watching the Packers get pounded by a crappy running Bears team,,, the key word being "pounded". With Julius "Never broke a tackle or made a guy miss" Jones and the half arsed run blocking this team has, the Cowboys can use a bruiser,,, maybe Crockett still has that ability.

Having watched a poor game last night from Hoyte, he's either still hurt or suffers concentration lapses. Given the fact that he'e not an offensive threat Crockett is just the kind of vet insurance you need going into the playoffs.

An ankle tweak for MBII and Crockett is the goal line guy in the playoffs.
