It would be very surprising for an offensive guard to win this award but it would be sweet.

Alot of us here were really bummed when Shazier went right before we picked; and yes, he has played great for Pitts before getting hurt. But can you imagine if we would have been available and we took him instead of Martin? Stephen already admitted that's where we were going with that pick. What a blessing in disguise! Even if he were still healthy, I don't think he cracks the starting LB rotation if Carter stays healthy. And our OL would be the same except Mac at RG most likely. No way Murray would be on this pace with that line. In short, he is the offensive rookie of the year, in my opinion. Thoughts?

As good as he's been, I think a guard winning OROY is pretty much unfathomable.

On a team that doesn't get the recognition and spotlight like us I'd say impossible. With the reputation our Oline is getting I can see him getting it.
