Zeke was talking about knee stability in the postgame. You really only talk about knee stability when you have ligament damage. I think they have kept it under wraps that Zeke had a sprained MCL. Look at how he was running the last month or so, almost no lateral cuts. All straight ahead, into the pile. We've been complaining about KM's playcalling, but I think it is possible that play selection was limited by what he knew his personnel could do.

That would explain the brace more than a bruise would. A bruise seems like it would need padding etc..
A slight tear could be played on with a brace. I had a meniscus tear that I could keep playing on.

This makes sense and good reasoning and explanation.
