Let this thread serve as a placeholder for Zeke’s contract talks in the future.

It’s an exciting time now with flying cars, the success of Fast and the Furious 14 and iPhones with headset jacks. The real question is: will Zeke get $200M guaranteed?

I think you mean the 2022 contract watch when he holds out in a few years.

This is Zeke's last deal, after 6 years, he'll be cut.....this deal is going to look horrible in 3 years....

He will retire after this contract. And likey be traded before it’s over. The real question is when will he get in trouble again.

I think as long as he's very productive he will look to get a new deal before he turns 30. One final pay day.

Only if Zeke stops being the player he has been. Once the new CBA kicks in, the tops RB deals will significantly top this deal. It’s now up to Zeke. Is he Roy Williams who played his tail off, got paid, and then didn’t care anymore or is he Emmitt Smith who put being the best ever ahead of money.

From what I've seen? He's not going for best ever and is closer to a Roy Williams than an Emmitt Smith.

I hope another RB gets a better contract next year and he sits again. I would love to see all hismsupporters come back out and tell me he deserves more money because he’s better.

They will replace Zeke before giving him another big contract. He’ll be used up by the time he’s 30.

I don't think he can hold out again. Cowboys would just start clawing back all this guaranteed money for a declining running back. This will be his last contract with the cowboys and he knew it, which is why he held out.

Hopefully, he has another holdout so I can re-read the debates of honoring contracts.

lol

I'd support him again. That kinda stuff doesn't bother me. It's outta my hands so why should I get worked up about it. I'll support the players when the strike in a couple of years. I'm 53 with an ankle reconstruction, two knee surgeries, a bum hip, dislocated a shoulder 7 times etc., and I was a marginal player. Imagine how much these guys are gonna hurt when they get older.

Times were different then, these guys are paid a lot more, I have zero sympathy for most of them.

The joneses will initiate the next extension or restructure.

And 2022 sounds about right to me

Back then you didn’t really know what pain was.
Believe me, I knew what it was. Worst pain I've ever felt in my life was when I woke up from my ankle reconstruction surgery. Three pins and a ligament transplant!!! Thank God for the morphine pump!!!
