Oh Lord, this will not be good.
And Jamal Lewis pushes Zeke out of the top 10 . I think at this point that's the list. Also it appears that LT was by far the biggest grinder, and none of the backs actually played in all 64 possible games.

easy 200-350 yards he would have hadAnd think he missed some games for suspension.
The man has carried us since 2016....shame he is all alone.
ES is laughing at that notion and most pf those guys at the top of the list had coaches who believed in the run game and got the ball a lot. Ironic how that happens.. ES was volume back, period.. his Yearly and career average are identical to Zeke, they are actually on pace 4 years into their careers..no ifs and Butts, reality, Zekes a great back, was im Hs college, and now the NFL,,Hes gets the ball a lot because he can handle it..Love Zeke, but he is NOT worth that contract, and I won’t be surprised if he never finishes it as a Cowboy.
So we have a great RB behind a great OL, and he was given the ball as much or more than any other coach would have given it to him because Garrett/Linehan were devoted to the run game. And where did that get us? Blame whomever you want, but if you have the best RB making the highest salary in the history of the NFL, leading the league in rushing, and you still win nothing, maybe you put that money in the wrong spot.
Only 2 QBs have over 15,000 yards and 40 wins in their first 4 seasons.
Marino and Dak.
Yeah, if take first 64 starts. You must mean first 4 seasons and not first 4 as a starter because if you make it first 4 as a starting QB that list more than doubles.
No slam on anyone of course, just pointing out that others have done it that may have not been a starter their first year or so.
Oh and are we back on the win is a QB stat and not a team stat again? I can't keep up anymore. Changes by topic sometimes.
Absolutely.Jim Brown - 5,055 over 48 games which is 2nd on list based on per game average.

ES had a garbage line huh? a coach who didnt believe in the run game?
More trivia for Zoners
Zeke Elliott is holding his own so far among some of the NFL RB greats.
Let me know if anyone else is above him, but from what I can tell he has the 7th best all-time start to an NFL career after 4 years (rushing yards)
Ahead of Payton, Simpson, Faulk, Allen, Dorsett, Bettis, James, Martin, Anderson, Brown (due to 2 gm seasons only), etc
- E. Dickerson (6968)
- L. Thomlinson (5899)
- A Peterson (5782)
- E Smith (5699)
- B Sanders (5674)
- C. Johnson (5665)
- E. Elliott (5405)
Not bad. He's built to last a while too. Knock on wood

Most or all of those other backs missed games too. But I hear you--especially regarding the suspensionZeke was held out of 2 games entering the playoffs in 2016 & 2018, and suspended for 6 games in 2017. That means he started 56 games, and averaged 96.5 ypg in those games. If he played in all 16 games per season for a total of 64 games, he would have accumulated an estimated 6176 yards, 2nd only to Eric Dickerson. Truth be told, Elliott has been held back by coaching and the NFL's bogus disciplinary system.
He comes in at 5316Certainly Walter Payton is on that list?
Just think where he would be without Goodell’s bogus suspension.More trivia for Zoners

So that's three Cowboys in the top 20. That's pretty darn good!He comes in at 5316
So right behind Zeke
Then after year 5, Payton zoomed up to 6926...big 5th year
A bunch of longer-term greats aren't on there yet
Payton, Simpson, Faulk, James, Allen, Bettis, Martin, Dorsett....
