Zeke Appreciation

I don't think he's been a distraction at all. The only thing is that his BS with Goodell has distracted him and he got off to a slow start. I was all for drafting Jalen Ramsey and he's having a heckuva career, but if EE stays healthy and gets thrut he Goodell/Thompson crap...we made the right move in getting him. He's really a HoF type running back.

YR

Agreed completely. I also wanted an impact defensive player as I was of the belief that no running back is worth a draft choice that high. Zeke has proven me wrong. Special doesn't begin to describe the type of player he is. An absolute HoF lock barring injury.

Barry never won a SB and then quit in his prime. Just saying
Ok? He's still arguably the greatest RB of all time. And the point is that, statistically, LeVeon Bell is about the same as Barry Sanders through their first 54 games.

The greatest of all time? Arguably? How many of the top 5 RBs of all time get pulled near the goal line?

For his career, he averaged 100 yards rushing per game and 5.0 yards per attempt, while never having a single season under 1300 yards rushing, except for the season where he only played 11 games. That's insanely productive and consistent. And he wasn't exactly on fantastic teams.

Yes, he retired early, but he was also 30, which isn't terribly young for a RB.

IRT the thread topic, yea Zeke's been on a roll recently. He is our main option: 25 carries a game at least honestly.

Its not how you start, it's how you finish. I'm a Cowboy fan, thought you were too. Enjoy the Steelers game tonight.
So, now I'm not a Cowboys fan because of my opinion on LeVeon Bell and Barry Sanders? Cool.

I think Zeke is one of the best RBs in the league. The best? IDK about that.

He was a good runner but not a complete back.

But he is the greatest RB of all time in this stat.

"Sanders also holds the NFL record for the most carries for negative yardage. According to the NFL, Sanders is the all-time leader in rushing yards lost by a running back with 1,114."

Thanks for reminding me! I totally forgot about that

For as much of a distraction he has been, these last couple weeks have been a reminder of what he means to this team.

Running with purpose and vision and passion!

No earth-altering information here, but Zeke has been balling out and deserves a ton of credit! I hope we don't take his greatness for granted.

Now, here's to good news tomorrow in the courts!
He has NOT been a distraction......the NFL has. Keep it real, bro......

Slurp, slurp.
