He will get if he stays healthy. It's not even debatable in my opinion.
114 average will be tough. A couple of 50-60 yards games would make that hard.

Why the hell didn't he get more carries today? Only 15. Could have gotten to 160. Should have been given 20 touches. Will be tough if he has a few bad games. Needs 160-180 yard games for it to be attainable.
I don't think the coaching staff cares about rookie rushing records. Why the hell didn't he get more carries today? Only 15. Could have gotten to 160. Should have been given 20 touches. Will be tough if he has a few bad games. Needs 160-180 yard games for it to be attainable.
… Or a few 170-200 yard games would make it easier. I tend to look at the glass half full114 average will be tough. A couple of 50-60 yards games would make that hard.

If he gets close they will care. You earn a lot with your players when you pay attention to their individual accomplishments.Because the coaches don't care about what stats a player is chasing.

Record aside.. He's averaging more than 20 carries a gameBecause the coaches don't care about what stats a player is chasing.
With 134 yards today, Zeke needs 1263 yards to break Dickerson's rookie rushing record. He will need to average 114.8 yards per game.
I don't mind saving him, though. I know he's young, but I'd rather keep those touches for a potential playoff run. It's not like Morris is a chump, either. He should have padded those stats today but they failed to use him enough.
He probably won't get that record but he could have. Just won't get the touches.
