Zeke Elliott - Horrible season for him

If he can take a pay cut next season to make room for pollard. I would be down for keeping him. Reality we are probably tied together for at least two more seasons. We probably loose pollard if he doesn’t take a salary adjustment and draft a back high in 2024.

I would love to keep him on a team friendly deal, but I feel an outright cut is coming for fresher blood. I wish this team had more success with him being a lead back during his first few years. He’ll always be one of my favorites, though
What a waste . . . you wasted a High Draft Pick on Him for a reason and totally change and go in another direction

The stupidity of this organization knows no bounds

Very solid career in Dallas. A couple All-Pro teams and 2 rushing titles. 8,200 yards in 102 games. Glad he’s been a Cowboy. Unfortunately, it’s time.
Yep, he has had a good career all things considered, but its time to move on. There is a reason RBs have the shortest careers in the NFL, just too much wear and tear.

so sad man.. dude was elite his first couple of years. crazy fun. he’s finished. i’d only keep him for a massive pay cut and only for goal line plays.

They will probably cut him and He will go to a team like the Bills as a TD Vulture and win a Super Bowl

Thumpers need a lot of carries to look good. There's not one thumper in the NFL that can carry the ball 14 times a game and produce a championship type season.

What's leadership without quality play
Right. I am so sick of hearing about leadership. Tim Tebow is a great leader. RG3 is a great leader. I don't care how great of a guy you are and if you're a leader. Can you produce on the field. If not then a change has to happen.

As a person Zeke has matured and was team oriented when stating he's cool with TP getting his. That's great of him but week in and week out he's proven to be a very expensive short yardage specialist.

He has to be cut in the off-season. Unless he is willing to take a massive pay cut. And I mean massive.
The kind of cut required comes from getting to the open market and the league passing judgment that you're over.

If he stays, he'll be overpaid.

Love Zeke.. but he has lost a burst. No way you can justify the $$ of his contract (and you argue they were always over inflated) for what he offers. That doesn't make him trash.. Zeke was elite.. but his best years were wasted while we fiddled and tweaked with our shiny hack of a rookie QB.

I can only sit and dream about what Zeke could have done with Romo under centre.

The injury in 2016 changed Zekes career.. I have no doubt about it. Zeke was drafted to win a SB.. and with a quality QB/HC he would have.

However all the rose coloured glasses can't change the fact that he can't bounce it outside, he can't break through the second level and he struggles to be a threat on screens because he is too slow. He is more a short yard FB than HB.

If he was prepared to take a massive paycut then i think he could still add value but it would have to be a near minimum.

Same as Dak. I think the team is starting to tune Dak out for the same reason
The Dak and Zeke show is a flop!
50% of the bandits are gone in the offseason and good old Dakko is a pre-June 1st 2024 cut.
