They know better than we know...though many on here think they know better and know it all.....my bet is on the team knowing though.....
Based on how they have handled many injury situations and how they don't seem to pan out....I would say you would lose that bet.

You just proved my point, like I said, many think they know better...my bet is still on the team knowing the situation better than wee fans do.

I see we are still going to be babying him. I am not sure why they think he will just turn it on once the season starts....

Um, because he's awesome? I am not sure why you think that Zeke is going to forget how to run the ball if he doesn't get significant playing time in this game.

If I had to choose a preseason game for him to get reps in it'd be vs. Seattle at Centurylink. Good intro to the NFL.

It is not about forgetting how to run, it is being able to run. If he is not used to being hit and to the speed of the NFL game, he will be adjusting in the first few week and avoiding injury instead of thriving.

Oh, that's just the standard BS you hear from every talking head. It means nothing. Yeah, it's gonna take Zeke "a few weeks" to adjust, yeah sure. This dude is going to lay waste to opposing defenses from day 1.

No, that is not standard bs...that is real life experience, albeit not on the pro level and just watching how the NFL plays out every year with guys who don't participate in TC or who are babied in TC. You can almost set your watch to it.

Sorry pal, I'm calling you on this. You have never run out those numbers -- you have no idea if a lack of preseason playing time actually leads to more injuries, or more preseason time leads to greater productivity. And cherry picking a few examples doesn't make it true.

So we are going to roll into the season without having all 11 play together in the pre-season.....Oh boy:banghead:

And we wonder why we have no continuity???

I remember when the Cardinals drafted Otis Anderson in the first round. On his very first preseason carry, he ran 92 yards for a TD. He sat for the remainder of the preseason.

I wouldn't mind that scenario for Zeke.

He's taken some pretty big hits in practice from what I've read. However taking a hit in practice as opposed to taking a HIT from a guy like chancellor or Thomas is completely different

It's better to have him all season than in the preseason. Our RB depth allows us to work him in slowly. He is second on the depth chart anyway.
