I meant "we" as collective society as a whole, including Roger Goodell.

This thread is a miniature version of what is wrong with this country. Maybe we should have a CowboysZone march in front of Jerry World so everyone can see our outrage.

What he did was immature and stupid. The fact the girl is OK with it after the fact is largely meaningless.

No he doesn't need to go to jail or anything silly like that but when you are in the cross hairs of the NFL (and it was just a few weeks ago that they were lamenting the NFL still had an active investigation going) you can't be doing dumb stuff like this.

He's not a child, so to not expect him to be mature and smart in his decision making is silly. He's a 22 year old millionaire. Sorry, but with that comes more responsibility.

I agree, completely agree. I appreciate you for posting this. If she wanted her breasts exposed she would have exposed them herself. No one has the right to decide if someone else's body get exposed. I don't think she was "okay with it" by still hanging around him. If she was okay with it she wouldn't have covered up so quickly

Social media is such a curse. If this is becoming such a story, I'd be scared to see how long Michael Irvin would have been suspended for had cell phones been so readily accessible in the 90s.

ANY man in his 20s has been in a similar position at one point in their life. If you say you haven't, you're either lying or you're gay. And multiply the opportunities we had at that age, X10000000, and that is what Zeke is at. He's a 21 year old multi-millionaire, leading rusher on the most iconic team in the NFL. I'd be a little disappointed if he DIDN'T try to have a little fun with it. Not everyone is Troy Aikman or Peyton Manning- some people, even NFL stars, want to have a life outside of football.

Sure, I'd rather him not get caught doing these kinds of things. But to hope or expect him to not go party, or not be interested in women, is 100% unrealistic.

I understand but reality is that society cares overly much. They apply considerable pressure around issues just like this, which is why Goodell is where he is. He gets paid to fix problems just like this. Roger Goodell isn't part of "Society". His job is to protect the shield, and by extension, the interests of the owners. He will do whatever he needs to, in order to protect the shield. You can depend on that. He's shown it too many times.

The difference between you and him is that you weren't a multimillionaire celebrity whose actions come under scrutiny by the league's commissioner and who by virtue of your status have people looking at you as a meal ticket and waiting to accuse you of some impropriety just so they can make a buck. Nor are people who call themselves fans of yours dreading that you may not be available to them (because of your lack of discretion), depriving them of the pleasures of watching your talent.

But other than that, you're both the same. ;)

yeah i also remember you pre-emptively judging zeke when the assault allegations came out. So nice try there friend. Im just saying I dont know no. You are right, however i was there a few years ago, and let me tell you i saw some players doing some things they shouldnt be doing. So just because its not all over TMZ doesnt mean it doesnt happen. No one makes headlines like Cowboys players. Remember that.

What do your assumptions have to do with what Zeke did? Assuming that other athletes do do this, Zeke is on tape doing it. And that puts him under the microscope (probably telescope is more like it) known as Roger Goodell.
