I do believe Zeke does see a threat to his legacy/playing time and has stepped it up, knowing ......he'd better.

Yes yes Pollard is a faster cat but there is more to RB than just speed, hell....Bobby Mitchell was a Big10 100 champ, fastest cat in football, his FB....Jim Brown!

Did you also happen to notice that his best run in 4 years came out of the deep one back set with Dak under center and NOT out of shotgun. It enabled Zeke to see the defense, set one backer up with a jump cut to the right then outflank him with another jump cut to the left. AND he gets to the line of scrimmage on the accelerator after 3-4 steps instead of just 1 or 2 if the play is out of shotgun. I will keep saying it.. if the Cowboys want to get their money's worth out of Zeke they need to set him deep in the I and let him attack the line of scrimmage downhill. Do that and I think we can look forward to at least 3 more years of 1500 yard seasons out of Zeke. Now I understand that with Pollard in the fold that's not going to be the plan.. but that's what I would like to see.,

Totally agree but.......not a fan of that many carries especially having Pollard, long long season.

Zeke has quicks his instincts are great which as every RB will tell you......I just react not thoughts. Colors, ya see the bad guys colors and go away from that, all instincts.
