I knew Elliott was going to be a bust... I just knew it!

Why oh why couldn't he just have done his rookie photo shoot in a full shirt?

What could have been...

I almost want the Boys to burn that number 21 not the most classy people have worn that number. I think Zeke is a class act he deserves a better number

I agree. I really wished he would have picked 26. Julius Jones, Pacman, Coward Jenkins and Joe Randle have left a bad taste in my mouth.

I have a serious question.... Ok let me rephrase I have a serious offseason nothing really to talk about question. Did he like the half jersey cause it was more comfortable too wear?

Less jersey to grab is what I think. Plus it looks kind of cool.

He seriously needs to lose that. I can't wait till the NFL bans that crap.

It really is in poor taste. I might make in popular in SF, but I don't want to see it anymore. Grow up, be professional.

So all the guys back in the day that chose this type of jersey weren't professional. Okay.

It's also a throwback to Eddie George who played at his school.

Maybe you're the one that should be popular in SF if you're all hot and bothered over a dudes practice jersey.

And who wants to grow up? Old and boring, or young and fun. I'll take young and fun.

Struck a nerve, eh? And yes, it was unprofessional. Don't go overboard with your man crush.

As someone mentioned above Troy Aikman has worn the cut jersey. I'm pretty sure I remember Herschel Walker with that look. When I as a kid in the early 80's cut off t's were popular. I don't understand the disdain for Zeke wearing it.

He could wear a top hat and a strap on alligator tail to go with his half shirt and it would be all good.

As long as he can back it up with 100+ rushing yards per game and a ton of TDs.

If he can't, then moving in another direction with his accessories might be wise.

Well, then Zeke can only bring class to that #21 and remove any bad views and / or opinions of that number.
Soon you too, will love the #21 in Cowboys history. :D

It blows me away that after years and years...and years of watching football and participating on a Cowboys message Board which probably elevates your knowledge to the top ten percent of the fan base given your exposure to the team and the league, that people do not know the NFL's uniform code and how strict they are about it.

Zeke has as much chance getting on the field with that jersey as any of us - unless somebody here runs a 4.2 and isn't telling.

I can run a 4.2...in 10 yards....

It tells you he isn't quite as humble as he tries to portray to the public. heh DeMarco 2.0.

I'm sure it has been discussed (maybe in this thread) but I really wish his number wasn't 21. I just see two running backs that didn't live up to expectations over the past few years when I see that number.
