He's finally conditioned and in shape. For sure we can make a run now with him back in the fold. You could see it little by little the last 3 games with this his best. He's keeping his balance and not getting tackled by the first guy and even has his burst back, not his rookie year burst but the closest its been all year. Glad he's back cause we will need him if we wanna make a run. Should be featured and must have a big day next weekend to lock up a playoff birth.

I agree. I have been heavily critical of him but you are right .last couple of games...saw sine life from him.

Today was his best game in a long time. But Pollard was still better...lol

Zeke looks like he drops a few pounds of to me...it is very noticeable...he was quicker and more agile as well.

Zeke has been running well for a while. He wrecked the Eagles, wrecked the Giants, and was running for high-4 YPC against the Pats and over 5 against the Bill's. Gameflow just prevented him from getting fed in the latter 2 games, while it worked strongly in his favor today.

He’s actually been running pretty well for a while. He did good in the Bills and Bears games and play against the Pats til our playcalling switched over because we were down by a measly 3/7 points. Today we stuck by the run game. Our coaching staff needs to learn when to use passing (Vikings game) and Ground game (today).

Our coaching staff has terrible discretion

Actually, the line stepped up and turned the corner we hope.

You’re joking about Pollard being better I hope?

Pollard is an excellent complimentary back but I do not care what the numbers said, he was no way better than Zeke tonight.

In fact, I was a little ticked they took Zeke out for a drive in the second half because the offense was visibly not as efficient with Pollard in there. Pollard is more explosive but there was probably 20 backs more explosive than Emmitt playing during his prime.

exactly. I've seen several drives stall when Zeke left the game including in todays game. This team would score a extra td a game if zeke never left the game. Also, If you're facing 7 and 8 man fronts and still dominating and getting 20 plus, carries, it's harder to have the gas to take it to the house. Pollards fresh on every run because he's a back up. Look at Barkely as a rookie. He outran the defense at first. Then once he started running between the tackles, he started getting chased down. Freshness matters.

He's not though. He has ridden the cocaine train for a while now, he got paid, he's reached his personal zenith. He doesn't play for the right reasons, and it shows. Could have gotten similar production out of the kid we drafted who looks like an absolute stud. The contract isn't on Zeke that's Jerry's stupidity but I'm glad we feel like we got our dollar on Zeke in week 15 of a 7-7 year. Good God.

RB as a whole; investing in it heavily long-term, is not the way of the NFL in 2019. Zeke is just a decent back anways

smh. I look at you like the guy in the neighborhood who wore a football helmet , one slipper, one boot, sweatpants and a suit jacket.

som idiots really believe Pollard is more than a change of pace back. it must be the food taking away this generations intelligence.

Thats okay. He's still just a good RB and a big reason the Cowboys are stuck in perpetual mediocrity. And he's not driven to win a title - but think what you want.

"He was never the same after he made that cut and that run against Alabama. Never the same kid." - Urban Meyer, verbatim

Priest Holmes was a "change of pace" back too. On this current team, Pollard would have ran for more than 1,000 yards which is all we needed. Teams love when we hand it to Zeke.

Zeke's great up 21-7 though

I like Dak, but you Dak Fanatics get way too serious about bashing Zeke.
