Hopefully they call up Ralston to help pass protect

Pollard will be fine running. But pass protection is worrisome

Oh well, other than blocking he brings very little. Another overpaid bum.

He should never have been in on the last drive of Raiders game . Idiot coaches cost games.

Zeke has looked good this season he just needs to get healthy and their is no point of forcing him out there over Pollard.

That 3rd and 11 in Minnesota. What a play that was.

They just need to understand that Zeke sucks at getting drives going. He is a finisher but he is not building momentum.

Okay. I've seen you complain about the refs and bad calls during the game but the phantom holding call that negated Pollards big run doesn't count?

But please, by all means, continue to pick and choose according to your agenda. Whatever helps you get through this, I'm there for ya.

happens to all backs cant add in what never officially went into the boks..3.8 is 3.8 and its happened all year he has one nice run then 10 under average runs..dont make excuses because you hope hes better then zeke..i hope he can hold down the first but he not better then zeke when zekes healthy..zeke was averaging 5.0YPC up until the knee injury and that sharing the ball..

pollards a cowboy, wish him the best , hes no zeke bro..so get over it..
.
I know what pollard is much like a Barkley type that has low averages as a bulk runner then breaks one to up his average,..if he doesn't break one his average is far lower then starting back..

Ill be pulling for pollard to do well but that at least better then the zeke troll haters who are vultures when he goes down/..

you do realize that 6 game win streak 4 of those games were run heavy and zeke WAS the catalyst..zeke gets hurt and guess what 1-3 that what..thats reality's..zeke while not old zeke when hes going well, he is still a big part of this team..so much so teams still game plan him and have dared dak to go beat them , guess what 1-3 daks last 4 with his homie with smashed in knee and is being tackled by the entire defense..

go back look at that 6 game win streak stat lines dak had around 200 yards and the run game was strong and we won..well balanced the broncos decided to not let that happened and teams followed suit...they took the run game away and moore got scred to stick with it and decided to be all unbalanced pass happy and that why we are 1-4..it hurts the defense when you have 5 -3 and outs, start throwing's iNTs and fumbles (kc game), dropped passes etc etc its led to leaning on defense missing 5 -6 starters and that was stupid..this is on Moore and dak.

we do need to find run game to back these defenses off..TOP is important and this isnt working..

a lot of you are some sad little boyfans and always want the backup.. pollard will never be zeke but i wish him well..

Love what he can bring to the table, but its obvious he's ineffective now. Please rest him, he clearly needs it.

none of our RBs have done well lately.

they aren’t getting enough rushes.

if we would run the football, and stay with it, we’d win some football games.

it’s a very simple fix.

Dallas is putting the games in Dak’s hands.. He is failing them.

Pollard was playing noticeably better than Elliot against the raiders. MM and Moore should have rode the hot hand. It wouldn’t hurt to rest Elliot if he is hurt that bad. Maybe we get other key players back. Something has to give. We either begin winning games again or this season will be a waste.

Listening to David Carr on NFL Total Access he is saying the Raiders were worried about Pollard going into the game and the impact he could have if given 20 carries.

No mention of Zeke or his blocking.

I love this false narrative that’s trotted out about Pollard.

“Ah, he gets a bunch of 2-3 yard runs and then pops a long one to inflate his average…”

1) That’s completely bunk.
2) The difference between he and Zeke is that Zeke gets you 2-3 yard runs but rarely ever pops the long one.
3) Pollard has averaged 5 YPC for his career. While he doesn’t have the same amount of career carries, his 287 carries is a statistically significant sample size.

Beyond the numbers, the narrative by some when they see Zeke plod for a 2-3 yard gain is “oh boy, he’s getting those tough yards,” then when Pollard has the same run it’s “heeeeehaw, see!!! It’s all or nothing for Pollard.”

I’ll give that Zeke is injured right now and he’s shown improvement this year prior to his injury. That

Let's hope that if they do sit Zeke it discourages Moore from calling 50 pass plays because Dak will get killed and Cooper Rush will have to finish the game if we ask Pollard to blitz pickup that many times. It's clear Zeke has needed at least a week down to heal up and has been for nearly a month. But you can't have it both ways.. Many of the same people whining about Zeke playing through injuries have been killing Tyron Smith for not .. At least be consistent.. Do you want guys to be tough and play through pain or do you want them to be pussies who sit for a hangnail?

Speaking of long runs when is the last time Zeke had one of those?

When was the last time Pollard had one that didn't come on a trick play or a jet sweep? His longest run of the season came against KC and came courtesy of a Zeke lead block.. ... on a trick play.. We can all see that Pollard is good in space and the way to maximize his production is to get him in space.. But the majority of his big runs have come on the jet sweep and wildcat plays. Yes those count.. but you and I both know you can't build an offense around them..

I would scour the practice squads for the best RB and get him to backup Pollard until Zeke’s knee is good to go.

Pollard needs to be used like Christian McCaffrey.. That’s who he is similar to.

Using him like Zeke is not the way.

Getting teams focused on him in the flats will keep eyes in the backfield and open up things down field.

If Dak could move around it would also help out a ton with getting teams to stop all this man coverage.

Press man and teeing off on Dak is working way to well for opposing defenses.

We need to see more:

1. Dak movement

2. Hurry up the offense. (They’ll get tired if they want to be in man against a hurry up)

3. Feed Pollard

4. A back shoulder throw would be nice but Dak doesn’t have it in his tool box.

Once you got momentum and the defense is on their heals theeeeen bring in Zeke.

Zeke to start drives ain’t it.

Dak processes things too slowly, imagine if he can run like other teams qbs do to us

Dak running or just moving is desperately needed.

He’s waiting and waiting in 1 spot for a window to open and teams have pinned their ears back trying to get to him.
