Zeke shredded the Giants for 140 yards last night, but is he leaving some meat on the bone out there when he hits space? Seems like he would have housed a few of those a couple of years ago. Not a complaint; a question.

LOL. You guys are pretty funny. We have a forum to discuss the Cowboys but apparently we have rules that some topics are off limits, like Zeke. I don't care. I will make the same observation about Zeke. He is still a great RB, but his longest run of the season is 27 yards. He had some holes last night that were as wide as a super highway. He made some great cutbacks to hit those holes but once through them I don't think he got as much has he could have out of it. Am I complaining about Zeke? No, but I guess that's in the eyes of the reader. My concern is more a longer term thing. He just signed a $90 million extension and he looks slower already. Maybe its his playing weight or maybe it the pounding he has taken from so many carries in his first 3 years. But its something to keep an eye on for the future.

Thought the same thing. It appears his home run hitting days are fewer and farther between. Would be interested to know what his current 40 time is vs what he ran his pro day.

Not even a full day after the game, Zeke had 139 yards. Only person that showed up from start to finish on the offense during the game and we already have a Zeke bash thread.

Make it stop.

Lol!!! This is irony at it's finest. That's how Cowboy fans feel about nearly ALL your post! Lol!

He did leave meat on the bone but it was mainly gristle... nobody would want to eat that, so I don’t blame Zeke.

And as for taking it to the house, I don’t blame Elliott for that either. Take home steaks? You got to sit and enjoy a good steak, so I wouldn’t take it to the house either.

that’s what we’re talking about right? Or is this simply a case of cliches run amok??

lets just say Dallas doesnt use its RB corp correctly. Zeke did fine for what was asked of him.

:lmao2:. You are so funny. Not .

What have I done that constitutes bashing? Pappydog is a basher of Dak. This thread is bashing Zeke. I have done nothing of that caliber.

Zeke is not mcafferey or cook...or i guess have the speed of breida.

and none of them dish out the punishment and run with power like he does. he is an old school throwback Half back.

I personally love watching him. he looks to be back to himself and it is the best weapon this team has going forward.

Expecting him to break 60-80 yards run is foolish. His game is power and consistency. Teams that play him are going to have to tackle him 20 plus times a game while he brings the power and they take the brunt of it. That is his game and that is the game this team is constructed around.

I personally feel its a perfect match for games like this sunday. I think the gameplan is going to be conservative, run the clock and play power football. Keep it a close game and wait for cousins to make a mistake.

The day after thanksgiving Zeke should be exhausted and hopefully dallas will have just finished a 3-1 stretch setting them up to win the east in december.

I think Zeke is a great back and is great at what he does. He gets yards that shouldn’t exist. But his home run hitting speed seems to have disappeared. That’s significant given the fact that he is the highest paid RB in the league.

I don’t think expecting him to break long runs is “foolish” because he used to do it with regularity. I’m not sure why reality is so devastating to some of you.

It would be nice if he did. His long runs vs Det, Cincy, Chi an pittsburgh in 2016 were fantastic.

I just don't think that is his game. Dallas is a big power team. He is the muscle. If the team keeps playing defense the way it did the last two weeks its a perfect compliment.

This is the equivalent of your QB throwing 5 TDs and someone complaining about the 6th one where someone was open and he didn’t see him.

Complaining about Zeke is foolish and petty.
He is considered by almost every team, fan base, to be the best back in the NFL today.
But some people’s need to argue with people on the internet makes Issues.

He's running against 8 men in the box nearly every play. And people are asking why hes not breaking the long runs, well it sure isnt because hes being run down from behind. The guy is a future hof'er at the pace hes going right now. And folks are fussing because he isn't breaking off 60+ yard TD's every game? I cant understand this line of thinking.
