It looks like Zeke is getting tired of having the NFL prolong this proven false allegation. Zeke is now the victim in this case. Every time it gets brought up or the NFL leaks so news about this "investigation" to a reporter it further tarnishes Zeke's image in the eyes of fans and casual observers.
Im glad he is speaking up for himself in this.
I wouldn't mind seeing him file a lawsuit against the nfl for the damage they are doing his marketability and future endorsement opportunities.

By dragging this witch hunt out the league is effectively placing a target on every players backs for possible future extortion attempts. I'd like to see Jerry speak up for Zeke about this.

FRISCO, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott wants the NFL's investigation into domestic violence claims that were not pursued by legal authorities to end.

"I do want closure," Elliott told reporters after the Cowboys' 34-31 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. "I would rather it not drag on this long. If there was something to find, which there's not, they would've found it by now. The police did a very thorough investigation. I will tell you this -- it just seems like they're dragging their feet right now. Who knows, man? I'm just ready for it to end."

Sources: NFL queries Elliott on assault claims
Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is still in the process of responding to the NFL's questions related to assault accusations made against him, sources told ESPN.

Elliott played his rookie season under the cloud of suspicion regarding a domestic violence incident involving a former girlfriend last July and the NFL's investigation has not yet concluded. League sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter the NFL has submitted follow-up questions to Elliott within the last month, and Elliott is still in the process of responding.

A player does not have to be charged in the legal system to be suspended by the NFL for a violation of the personal conduct policy.

Over the summer, Elliott's ex-girlfriend posted pictures of her bruised arms on Instagram and tagged Elliott, sparking an investigation that has lasted all season. Police in Aventura, Florida, were also called to Elliott's apartment in February to investigate an altercation involving the same woman, according to a report by USA Today Sports.

Jerry needs to step up, it's embarrassing how he let's the NFL treat his team. If he wants anyone to think he gives a crap and isn't just using the team as a cash cow he presents this case to a real court. The NFL has violated Zeke's right to a due process, and it's creeped into defamation at this point. I guarantee you as soon as this is presented federally, the NFL drops it.

Jerry is so worried about not getting to host another SB he lets Goddell walk all over him

The NFL is an absolute joke.

This may sound like sour grapes because we just lost but I'm considering not watching anymore the rest of the playoffs of even next season. I don't care what anyone says I have two eyes and the refs screwed us yesterday repeatedly. I don't know what their motivation was to screw the Cowboys but they did it, and the league screwed us with Gregory (yes he smoked the weed but they rushed the appeal) and won't leave Zeke alone and trying to play armchair detectives. I will always love the Cowboys but I am to where I hate the league that they play in.

Im with you guys.

Im sick and tired of watching the Cowboys do so much for the league and we are constantly on the short end of EVERYTHING.

Jerry worries me in his recent interviews. He's always been clever and witty but says some things from time to time that don't make sense. Well lately hes make a lot less sense and sadly age is catching up with him. I could be wrong though.

We bring far more profits into this league then any other team, I'm not sure why Jerry allows the league to do this.

I think each team should pay and profit for themselves, maybe pay a small franchise fee

We make the most profits and get screwed by the refs in a home playoff game? How is this possible. I am not asking for the refs to favor us either, just call it down the middle. I see it in other stadiums repeatedly though such as Seattle, Pittsburgh New England favorable ref calling at home yet we get screwed at home. Unbelieveable.

You can be sure that if a suspension comes, it will be challenged in court. Everyone has the right to due process in a reasonable amount of time. Even in a situation outside of the legal system.

It's sad because this situation is likely costing him a ton of endorsement money.

Nobody is going to want to associate with him if he might be the next public enemy tomorrow.

Jerry is an embarrassment himself
He is a used car salesman and a shyster
He is never going to "step up" unless you are after his money
Then he will fight like a cornered rat

I'll watch the Superbowl just because its like a National Holiday and a event but i'm out on next weeks games. I'm sick to my stomach today because of that loss. I almost used a sick day.

With you on not watching the rest of the playoffs.

There were at least 3 defensive holding calls on our CB's that there not called. One receiver had his jersey ripped off his shoulder pads br Claiborne (I think) and it wasn't called. The refs were not the reason we lost.

Same here. Still debating if I will even watch the Superbowl. I don't want to support the NFL anymore than rooting for my Cowboys. The NFL is a disgrace and I hope numbers continue to fall
