News: Zeke not on the gameday roster - disciplinary reasons

I think he is released next week and will be on someone's roster this year. We will be paying his salary for the most part. Cheap rental for someone.

Offhand, I actually can't think of even one team that would sign him. Who are you thinking?

Brad Sham pre game on Jerry’s radio station was asked about Zeke and did his best dance moves without answering the question of why Zeke was left home .

Jane Slater reported the whole thing straight up he’s missing meetings and the last straw was he blew off Fridays team meeting . So his plane ticket was quashed . Dalvin Cook Zeke they duplicate each other , cut one of them .

This is sadly pathetically funny. He's missing meetings, but then gets mad and pouts when they inactivate him. What a doosh.

Jerry wouldn't trade Zeke. That would be admitting what a mistake it was to sign him in the first place.

And as stated, I doubt he has any trade value at all. Only one owner or GM in this league has an irrational mancrush on him.

because it apparently takes a few weeks of convincing coach Jerry to do what is better for the team even if it means admitting a huge roster building error that literally anyone with a tv the last few years except for our idiot owner and his son already knew. So Rico and what was best for the team took the hit. In Dallas it’s always money and appearances/perception over football.

Because Jerry needed a reason other than Zeke stinks which would expose his incompetence as a GM. Now he’s got his reason so he can sit him with admitting he is a failure

Zeke’s rushing attempts have been down all season. Jerry claimed they’re saving him. He could have used the same excuse last week. If Dowdle wasn’t sick, don’t you think he would have said something about it? They could have said Zeke was sick if they were looking for an excuse to sit someone.

How many carries do you want him to get? How do you know they haven’t designed a running play for him? If he can’t run the plays the rest of our backs are running he’s not going to be part of our rotation.

I want Deuce to get at least 7-8 legit carries.

He can run the plays the rest of the backs can but that is a horrible idea. You think he should run the same plays as Rico or Cook? Completely different kind of backs. All teams with RBBC have specific plays for their RB's except one - the Cowboys.

That’s a lot of carries based on how we’ve been playing this season and how ineffective he’s been. Dowdle has only had 8 or more carries 4 times this season. If Deuce can’t run the same plays as Rico and Cooks he shouldn’t be part of the rotation. You can’t cater to one back because they’re undersized. Deuce has several negative carries and no gains in two seasons. That puts us in passing situations and causes the team to avoid using him.
