Said this before and will say it again......he may very well be to this team the offensive version of what Charley Haley was to the 90's defense. Remember that D, like this offense, had a ton of talent and was close to being really good but something was missing.

I don't know if the offense is exactly "rolling" because we put up 27 and 22 against teams with very weak defenses, but it does at least appear that they are making progress. For the first 7-8 games there just wasn't any clear progression. Everything has got a little better since the bye week. I didn't notice Sua Filo today, maybe that is a good thing.

I also liked the fact that Fleming had to come in for a couple plays and things didn't fall apart. Our OL depth has been worlds better than it was a year ago.

Cooper has had an impact on the offense that's without a doubt but Cooper and the rest of the wide receivers could have a bigger impact if Dak stepped up his game. He is the Achilles heel, and you have no idea how much I wish that were not true.

I still think Dak is too conservative. Hopefully, he can find a good balance on when to take chances.

You are right. In the overall picture, Dak is the weakest link on this offense. I wish it wasn't so either.

I’m not a fan of using high picks on Decoys.
They make a huge difference. Offensively we game plan with a decoy in mind. Really opens up the offense. Defensively, we have to work long hours when the other teams has a stud like that, wether they throw to him or not, he needs to be accounted for.

I said that in a thread

When we run zr on Zeke cuts backside of Coop, there's no one there until 3rd level of D

I share your impatience, although, it takes time for a new WR and his QB to establish the level of timing and familiarity to bring steady success. The coming weeks are likely to reveal much more in terms of if and how such familiarity is attainable. Obviously, there's much work to be done. I'm keeping hopes alive that it might materialize, potentially in time for playoff success. It's early yet but of course, there's no doubt that time is off the essence!

Zeke is a beast. But he's starting to develop a rather alarming problem. Fumbling.

After today's fumble, he now has 4 on the year ( per NFL.com).
