Peter King wrote about it on his MMQB, stating he quit on the play. Yeah...I guess. Would I like him to chase down the play on some "anything could happen", sure. Anything could also be tweaking hammy chasing down the play. I don't recall but is this the first or second INT? Was it right in front of him?

It is a thing. Zeke's demeanor is troubling to me. He has no spark right now and I don't mean just because he was stuffed all game. He looked subdued in the Sunday Night game too. Even his "feed me" celebration looked lethargic. But yesterday took the cake. He stood there with his hands on his hips and made no effort to help his team. You have to show up whether things are going good or bad, especially if they're going bad. This game was over, but what if there was a chance to mount a comeback? With his attitude, it wouldn't be possible.

I don't care what anybody says, the legal proceedings are getting to him.

As a collective this team needs to be more cognizant of their body language. Zeke is one, Beasley was another out I caught out there flailing his arms because things weren't going his way. Team played and acted like a bunch of punks yesterday

I think the constant media criticism could be taking its toll on his enthusiasm. Can't blame the guy.
Remember what it did to Greg Hardy. Ruined his life. He was never the Kraken again. He became an introvert.

These are young guys just out of their teen years. He will be fine in the end.
I'd be more surprised if he wasn't effected by this.

Who cares? The guy has been taken to the woodshed for a false DV claim and the game was well out of reach. This is making a mountain out of a molehill so of course some members of the idiotic media with its agenda will look again to demonize him, this time for something entirely insignificant.

His image is 100% his problem and it has now followed him to the field. He kind of reminds me of Troy Smith hitting the buffets after winning the heisman and bombing in the NC game.

IIRC Hardy dropped off after the pics of that girl popped up online. Not so much the media criticism which started as soon as he signed here. . Cause he was fine early on, pre pic drop, even with the media. Didn't help he was making weird comments too, especially about Bradys wife/

Same thing. Media criticism escalates when pics come out.
The media destroyed this guy.

Zeke is showing signs of shying away from attention. I can't see him throwing candy at Dak and jumping in the kettle right now.

I concur.

I figure if I shut off the game myself at that point, so did the team.

Or he is a selfish punk who really does not care about anything but his narcissistic self.

By that point in the game I had quit on the game too so why would I blame Zeke for doing the same. He quit, so what. His quitting didn't cost the game... it was already lost. Zeke got beat up yesterday because others didn't do their job and so how is he suppose to care at that point in the game?

Awwwwwe...poor little Zeke! So now it's the medias fault and Goodell and Friel and Mara that the guy always is and has been nothing but a selfish punk when things don't go his way. I guess the media was responsible for his college game at OSU when they lost and he publicly threw his head coach under the bus because he didn't feel he got the ball enough.

All this media attention didn't seemt to bother him last week against the Giants. It sure didn't seem to effect him when he decided to go out and party. Quitting on a play and acting like a giant baby on the sidelines has nothing to do with the the media, that's what he has been known for ever since college and that's what he is. It sure is a convenient excuse for the Zeke homers.

Even if it's true, then bench him. I'd rather have Morris or anyone other than a selfish quitter out there on the field. He's an embarrassment to the Star on and off the field.

When you behave like he does off the field, and I'm not saying he's guilty of DV, all eyes are on you fair or unfair.

So when you jake it like he did yesterday, it's caught on tv, and he can expect to be scrutinized for it.

JMO, but he really needs a wake up call. There isn't anyone on the coaching staff going to administer it because the owner has coddled players since 1994, hopefully Zeke turns himself around because he's a great talent. He can be special, but he needs to grow up quickly or it's going to be a short career.
