I saw this video of how he keeps in such terrific shape at his age…. Not a diet consisting of burgers either… Zeke needs to really step it up as Dalvin awaits
Lol it's way too late for that. Henry has always been known to take care of his body, he just took it to an extra level now that he's older like Brady did

Cook is just as done as Zeke. If Jerry was serious about winning he would call the Jets for Israel ibanikanda and offer a 6th. I would go as high as a 5th round comp. Start Dowdle the rest of the way and use Izzy in the Pollard role.

It’s amazing he lost his speed this fast. He’s only 28. He was the 110 Hurdle’s state champion in Missouri just 10 years ago.

Zeke was done after 2019. His style of running, along with getting paid top dollar just accelerated his decline.
Partially true. It was really Garrett and his "tough man contest" offense. Zeke ran on 1st, ran on 2nd, blocked or caught a pass on 3rd. They sent a top 5 pick on him and their intention was to use him up and dump him. Him and his agent caught on quickly and made sure they were not going to be a victim of Garretts unimaginative offense. And I am personally glad they did that. Zeke was 21 when he came into the NFL....and they used him like a pinata against grown men and were going to toss him to the side after flattening all 4 tires!!!!!!!!

The approach with him was wrong from the jump. You don't use a top 5 pick on someone and design a gameplan that ensured you were only going to get 5 years out of a top 5 investment. Top 5 picks need to be 8 - 10 year players for you. Everything about how he was handled was dumb!!!!!!!!

We are past the point of no return for guys who play at that level. If you want to get in shape at 29 you absolutely can especially as he is not that far off of being in shape. However to be in the kind of shape Henry is in you basically have to be staying in that shape for years and never stop. For context Lebron, who is the oldest player in the NBA, has said that the reason he never stops training is because he knows the moment he does he will not be able to get his body back. You cant start being dedicated once you become older in the NFL you have to be dedicated from day 1 or you wont age gracefully.

Zeke doesn’t care he got his money and most of his contract is guaranteed money. He just collecting a check. We should have never resigned him to come back.
He absolutely cares, no one wants to know that their body is declining. He has as much pride as anybody else totally disagree with you on the first half. Resigning him it’s just dept

He's about 6 years too late. You dont adopt this mindset at the end of your career and expect miracles.

His training regimen should be in whatever his next career is going to be. He's been done on the field, just collecting those Jerry dollars.

It’s too late. His athleticism is gone.

Henry is a freak among freaks. Prime Zeke was as good as anyone, but all those carries took his legs. It’s the natural state of things with some exceptions.

I think it is obvious that he did not do near enough to keep himself fit - he was lazy!

Training is important, Henry is a genetic freak. No way he should be as fluid and fast as he is.

Most RBs decline after 5-6 years and 1500 carries. Henry's on season 9 with 2100+ carries.

When you factor in his size, it's even crazier.
