He's a discipline issue when he doesn't get his way (or he was with the Cowboys this season). This is probably his last hurrah. I doubt the Chargers go anywhere in the playoffs. I guess they needed a backup RB since their backup was injured. He was a great back his first few years here. He just doesn't have that in the tank anymore, sadly. I wish him well.

Wow, even signing Zeke to the PS is a shocker, good Zeke. Look to trade with the Chargers GM this offseason.

I don't know why this surprises anyone. Zeke would not have asked to be released unless his agent had called him and told him there were playoff teams asking about him. This was a no brainer. Again, not expect 20 carries and 150 yards out of Zeke at any point.. but in situations and in the right offense dude can git er done. I still think he has struggled to adapt his play style to coming off the bench though. I don't see how that changes unless Harbaugh's offense is more downhill attack than what McCarthy runs. If that's the case then at least it will be a better fit for him.

The dude wants to play football.

he was pretty much wasted this season.

Good for Zeke. One of my all-time faves.

After he showed up here and couldn't bother to be on time for practice or team meetings, but still had the audacity to go to the coaches and demand the ball in the redzone I cant put him up there anymore.

I dont fault anyone for appreciating what he did as a younger player though. I personally can't put him as one of my favorites. Id take Demarco or MB3 over Zeke at this point. Of course I loved MB3. Those were fun seasons, minus the playoffs of course.

I had hope for the Chargers doing something in the playoffs. If Zeke plays he will drag that team down.

Big Mike thought it was better to start skinny Rico over Zeke.

He wanted off the team.

It was, but it took him 8 games to realize what was evident in camp. Shame on him.
And shame on you for thinking MM has much of a choice when it comes to who plays or who doesn't

except for the uniform...practice squad players don't dress on game day...
