Zeke - Stop bouncing so wide

it seemed first half Zeke was trying to bounce everything outside really early which allowed LBs and safeties to cut him off.

Second half saw more of the push ahead for 3-4 yards with subtle jump cuts like we got last year.

He also seems to get winded earlier. Don't know o he wasn't fully prepared to start year but there is something a touch off and he needs to power through it and not turn everything into a sweep.

I think it's clear he is not in the best game shape. One or two more weeks and we will see the Zeke we expect. The ability hasn't disappeared a bit.

he is just not in great shape. You see glimpses of his burst but this is guy with big cloud hanging over his head and its showing. Almost would rather him serve suspension and be done with it.

No way. Keep him. Can serve suspension next season and we most likely get a good rb in the draft to help the loss.

His face told you he wasn't comfortable? What, his eyes weren't intense enough or something? The guy prob wants the OL to open holes for him, his mind is clear enough to understand that.

Eh, early in the game their defense was getting a lot of penetration. Part of that was survival.

Arizona quite a bit was jamming inside running lanes, especially on obvious running downs.

there weren't many holes. the plays were the o-line created creases he usually got 5 yards at minimum. they oversold to stop the run and they got burned when we did things like Play Action Rollout or Read Option with Dak. If a team overplays the run that badly the Lineham or Dak need to be able to respond and punish them for it.

He definitely looked like he wasn't as in shape as we saw him last year. Along those lines, yeah looks a little less leaner and a tad slower than what we saw last year.

Now, it could also be because I was watching Saquan Barkley running wild Saturday night. That dude will too be the first RB taken in the draft (next year).
