Despite the Tony TD’s

When it came to banging heads - tough yards - pass protection- short yardage - it was zeke today .

Pollard was stifled today .

Houston were stout and Zeke did the business.

If getting 2 TD's is stifled than what is getting only 1 TD? The fact that we featured Zeke was one of the big problems today. Didnt you notice the camera panning over to Pollard sitting on the sidelines every time Zeke got stuffed?

Pollard still had a better ypc today than Zeke.

It is a shared back field. The #1 RB is likely game dependent. Regardless it does not matter who the starter is because they both accept sharing the load.

So that 3rd and 1 when Pollard was hit in the backfield and converted the first down isn’t “tough yards”? Guess it may not count because Zeke had 4 shots inside the 10 and we turned it over on downs that drive. “Tough yards”

Perspective: when a RB gave us 4.1 ypc it was so bad we had to cut him and draft another RB #4 overall. Now 4.1 is worthy of a job. My how times have changed

I'm not really down with the kumbayah stuff. These are professional athletes and I'm sure there's some gamesmanship in this situation.

However, the two push each other to limits that they probably can't get to without the other. TP being right there on Zeke's shoulder keeps him accountable. Zeke being in front of TP, makes TP work harder and harder each year. They complement each other well, and I feel when the media tries to divide them, it actually makes them grow stronger as a pair.

Competition doesn't always have to be cut-throat. These guys want the same goal. A ring, and to be compensated. TP will get his, and Zeke will get his.

The line was a zing in 2015. The run blocking has been ok this year. The pass blocking is great.

He didn't need to "take his job back", but he should have at least taken back some of the respect many people have been denying him.
