Patriots had an outstanding run game last year, he’d be a good addition to that backfield:

Rhamondre Stevenson and Damien Harris:
316 carries for 1502 yards at 4.8 ypc

I bet Belichick is particularly fond of Zeke’s pass blocking ability. That’s the kind of under the radar football skill BB would probably break bank for

I'm no expert but I'm confident the Cowboys would motion a tight end or use another back besides Deuce in pass protection. Don't think the coaches are that stupid regardless of popular opinion.

If Zeke will swallow his pride and take a small contract, he can contribute a lot in a place like NE as 1. Short yardage back and 2. Pass blocking for that anaemic offense. 3. An emergency back if someone is injured during the game.

Elliott is just one of a few RBs the Patriots are getting with to see who's a fit.
Fournette worked out with them last week; Pats contacted Cook about coming in after his weekend visit with the Jets; Darrell Henderson is also being considered.
Belichick doing due diligence --- exploring all options before making a decision.

I guarantee you Zeke will never say anything like that about the Cowboys. He's still very close to Dak and others on the team. Plus, I don't think he's dumb enough to burn any bridges with the Cowboys. He has matured the last few years. I wish him all the best wherever he ends up.
