If you need 1 yard Zeke will get you 1 yard. And carry the load!

I would have killed for the 1977 version of Staubach.Man I would have killed for 2016 Zeke against the 9ers.
This won change anything, the front office is going to restructure his contract because he knows the offense, the QB likes him and has a role.Well that destroys every narrative i heard on here for zeke, not even a saving grace on pass pro
Maybe FB...but we don't use those lolUnless he's willing to play for free he'd be gone.
I’m not even sure you bring him back unless it’s a short deal.Pollard and fresh legs from the draft. Let Malik Davis compete with that rookie in camp for the #2 spot. There just is no reason to keep Ezekiel Elliott any longer.
28 years would agree with you sadlyThis won change anything, the front office is going to restructure his contract because he knows the offense, the QB likes him and has a role.
We have seen enough. He has lost his burst. Lost his speed. Don't need a RB like that. And he is a terrible center!I’m not even sure you bring him back unless it’s a short deal.

I get your point but I wonder how many times Pollard had to pass block.Remember when Zeke's snaps were trying to be justified because of pass blocking?
I've defended Elliott because I believed that we were better off having both him and Pollard than we were overworking Pollard. Injuries and Pollard being slowed by a heavy workload (when burst is his superpower) were legitimate concerns. However, I also thought that Elliott was still good enough to be worthy of sharing the load. I was wrong about that. For the first part of the 2021 season before he got injured, Elliott had looked like he recaptured his form (anyone who denies that just doesn't like him). I thought he could do it again this year, but it appears the wall has won. Even though he says he's willing to take a pay cut to stay, which I had been for, I think we're better off moving on and using a draft pick to pair with Pollard next year.Remember when Zeke's snaps were trying to be justified because of pass blocking?
