Zeke's Current Status?

My heart wants to say he's working out and ready to come back.

My head says he's a stupid knucklehead who will show up out of shape.

I'm hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.

I don't think I've heard anything on Zeke since he left the country to train. He has tweeted once since the suspension, and that was about Ohio State. It occurred to me that he will be back with the team a week from today and I've heard literally nothing regarding his physical shape, mentality, etc. With the way Morris is running right now I hope Zeke doesn't need an entire half (let alone a game) to get back into playing form. We can't afford that right now.

With a 3 or 4% chance of playoffs this year, I'm not too concerned with him coming back "guns a blazin" this year. Although if he did, it would be a good sign that he learned from his suspension.
Man I hope the day by day concerns of him of stumbling with the law are behind him. Would be great to hear of him working out with the team throughout the offseason. The whole team could use so extra work (including the coaches) for that matter.

Zeke at 60% of tip-top form is better than Morris. That is not at all a shot at Morris, he has done an admirable job in his absence, but Zeke is the best running back on Earth and it's not close, IMO.

Even though this season is likely lost, I've missed simply watching him play on Sundays. Similar to Lee, he is a jaw dropping talent and I can't wait for this to be over.
