Yes lets slow it down and hope for the best here. He just got paid and athletes are targets for this kind of crap. Yeah it pisses me off to hear about it at all and Ill be beyond disappointed if it turns out true but Im not going to make assumptions.

You realize if she is lying then he is the victim, and you are shaming him, right?

Who knows what happened, but lets wait for any amount of information to come out before assuming guilt one way or the other.

I will take the odds that it is. Unfortunately this happens all the time. We live in a country where victims are shamed all the time.. I hope beyond hope its a money grab.

Given recent events I have to think there is more than just smoke here and I hope if true the team is out in front of it and takes a hard stance. This kid has the highest selling jersey since being drafted, he is instantly a face of the nfl with two of the biggest fan bases in all of sports behind him in ohio state and Dallas. If he did this, he and the team need to be out in front on this and take the necessary action.

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has been named a suspect in a domestic violence police report obtained by TMZ Sports ... but the 21-year-old has DENIED any wrongdoing and was NOT arrested.

The female accuser filed a report with the Columbus PD in Ohio Friday morning ... saying she was assaulted by Elliott -- who she claims is her former live-in boyfriend -- while sitting in the driver's seat of her parked vehicle.
The officers who responded to the scene say the woman claims she had pain in her wrist and a red mark -- but declined medical treatment.

Cops contacted Elliott -- who denied striking the woman. He also said he never lived with her.
In the report, cops list the accuser as a 20-year-old woman -- 5'5", 120 lbs. Elliott is listed at 6'0", 225 lbs.

According to the report, cops also spoke with 4 witnesses -- but they all told cops they didn't see an assault. One of the witnesses was in the car at the time of the alleged incident.

Due to the conflicting reports, Elliott was NOT arrested -- but the accuser was referred to the prosecutor's office ... if she wants to try to press charges.
We reached out to Elliott's camp -- one person in his agent's office told us, "I can assure you [the allegations] are not true."

I am not shaming him. All I have said is that if he did this he and the team need be out in front on this. If he didn't do it then he has nothing to worry about and she be out front on that today asap also as should the team.

He just got paid a couple months ago, he's leaving for Oxnard in a few days, and she posts pics of some bruises. I'm no expert on scorned 20 year old girls, but I'll take this accusation not very seriously

Well. So much for that. If true the team should drop the hammer on him before camp even starts. Just sit him down and do not let him play until all this is resolved no matter how long it takes.

Now football will never be a topic with this team this year. We almost made it to training camp. Oh well.
