Yesterday was a reminder of just how hard it to replace the impact he has on this offense. Sure Morris and McFadden can offer solid production but you see why Zeke have defensive coor up all night. A runner, a receiver, and a protector.........show me a better 3-DOWN back in the league.

I agree with @Risen Star and his list. Dalvin Cook will be a good one too...wish he hadn't gotten injured. Fournette looks to be heading for the Top 5 list as well.

To bad his first name isn't Mike. It would make the announcer nervous everytime they had to say, "Mike Hunt really looking good out there". lol

That's two Hollywood Nights references I've heard on this board in 2 days!! Lol

I thought that was Fast times at Ridgemont high. Oh well, doesn't matter. Funny either way. LOL

Actually now that you mention it, they did it in both movies! It was Mr Hand that did it in Fast Times! Lol

This is why we took him at #4. He is the centerpiece of our offense and at the same time impacts our defense because of his affect on time of possession. So, some folks should give our front office some credit.

There a number of great backs in this league that dont have the offense and line that Zeke does. That being said, this was his best game ever in my book. Against a woeful defense, however. Of course I played him in Fantasy this week and he killed me. Zeke will go as the blocking goes and most backs go.

I will note that the play calling continue to try to "get cute" at the beginning of games instead of just POUNDING the BALL!!!

Zeke, Bell and Johnson. The three best backs in the league in whatever order.

I would also throw Hunt in there and Delvin Cook from Minnesota before he got hurt. Small sample size on him, but that was my take.

But there are other backs on the league. A guy like Carlos Hyde that if you put on Dallas he would destroy the NFL. Oh and you definitely left out Todd Gurley. The guy finally has a decent line and he is tearing it up. I would take Gurley over Zeke. Close call.

Devante Freeman is also a hell of a back. I would take Zeke though. Melvin Gordon would tear the league apart in Dallas, but Zeke is better.
