They both got a lot of crap last week from everyone, me included. They came out this game to prove everyone wrong. They called an EXCELLENT game. We were attacking on both side of the ball. It was FANTASTIC. And wow, Newman sure is QUICK on that blitz!!

Zimmer has caught a lot of crap about his blitz packages being too predictable. How about Newman blitzing up the middle from the slot corner spot? That is creative.

A little luck also never hurts, the play to Westbrook could of been a TD and McNabb also missed TO on several across this middle.

I thought the boys did a good job at collapsing the pocket around McNabb with out opening any running lanes.

I agree, I thought they called a good game yesterday. I've been pretty critical of Zimmer, but he made me eat crow yesterday. Let's hope they both keep it up.

Good. We want them to perform at a high level, not be at the bottom. That's why you criticize them.

Major back slaps & free brewski's for both of these guys. Let's not forget BP either. Ultimately, it was his decision to open up the offense & I'm sure he had alot to do with the D's big showing too.

Our offense has SO much potential but up until yesterday, we never put the pedal to the metal and fully unleashed it. Once again, superb play by the o-line allowed us to stick to our game plan. What for a long time has been questionable is suddenly proving to be one of our strengths. Petiti's got the job as long as he wants it. Yeah, he had help yesterday (good coaching) but he more than held up his end of the bargain. Hard to believe he's a rookie. Can't complain about the center either. And for all of you Rivera detractors, he is one of the biggest reasons the line is comming on the way it is.

Outstanding showing by our defense too. What a time for Bradie James to have a good game. Let's hope we come out with the exact same game plan against the Gints next week. If we can beat the highest scoring team in the league (damn, it HURT to say that about the frakking Giants) I think it'll be safe to say that the rest of the league will have to acknowledge us as 'for real'.

It's amazing how the camera never really got any shots of Zimmer. Maybe because the defense was playing off the chart!!!! Let's give the guy some camera time when things are going good.

Just wondering outloud...and I'm not at all one of those people that says the defense is better without one of its best players...but, was Dallas able to be a little more creative in blitzes and things like that because instead of Dat being in the game a bigger stronger player was?

No. It was just a much more attacking game plan, finally we mixed up the blitz's and played more man to man.

Yes, I agree. It involved a little luck. But it also involved a guy or two in his face.

I agree. Dallas was bearing down on McNabb and forced him to throw off target.

The reason we were able to be more creative came from the overall awesome play of Newman and Henry.
