Depends on what kind of zombies...if it is the George Romero ones than they are slow and cumbersome and you can get away if you use your brain.

Now the newer ones, like in the romero remake or in 28 days later, are much more scary and not a laughing matter at all because they are so fast.

The same thing happened here in Austin. My friends live in an area where a sign was changed. Although I am not sure it was a prank. The state legislature is in session and I think it was referring to those zombies.
