As the site's resident furry, many of you are aware that I enjoy attending furry conventions. I was in Pittsburgh July 4 weekend for Anthrocon where we had over 20,000 people. You may also be aware that I fursuited at the NFL Draft in Pittsburgh (since I live in Cleveland and Pittsburgh is close by) for days 2 and 3.
Now, why do I bring this up and why do I say Zoner Cons? Well, one of the reasons we furries have conventions (or we call them "cons" for short) is so that furries from around the world can meet other furries and hang out. I'm not suggesting we rent out a convention center, but I was disappointed that I didn't see any Zoners at the draft lol. Maybe there were some at the draft and I just didn't see you (my visibility in suit isn't very good lol). But, I must say, I've never met a fellow Zoner before (or anyone from the old forum either for that matter).
So, I think it would be a lot of fun if, during Cowboys training camps, games, at bars, or at drafts (among other things), we could have our own little sections of the tailgate or draft areas specifically for Zoners. We could call it "Zoner Con" lol. I'd imagine it'd be a fun way for Zoners to actually meet up and hang out....and maybe recruit more Cowboys fans to join here too lol. And by having these in other places, it's not restricted to those who live in DFW or California lol.
Just thought it'd be a fun idea....and who knows? Depending on the location, you might also meet a real live furry, as many in Pittsburgh were delighted about at the draft (for those who hadn't seen furries at Anthrocon or other con areas like MFF, my favourite con) lol.
