Zoners: Felix Jones injury...I blame our?

Zoners:

Our offensive coaching staff is to blame for the injury to Felix Jones.:bang2:

Why?

Jones gets loosened up during warm ups and is ready to go. Then he just STANDS on the damn sideline for several series not really knowing WHEN he is going to enter the game.

All of a sudden, it is JONES.....get in the game!

Big Red calls a SWEEP for his 1st play of the game.......his legs are cold.....he is a SPEED player......well.....the rest is history.

Next year, we must get this guy in the game early and often......HOW?

With a TWO BACK set of Felix and MBIII........:bang2:

Injuries happen.

Does it suck happening to Felix Jones? You bet.

This team has what 3 guys lost for the season due to injury? After playing 10 games I don't consider that to be a horrible number.

Put the blame on the coaching staff for the injury is maybe a little strong.
But I agree they need to get Jones in the game often. Not just once in a while that was.

Blaming an injury on the coaching staff..that makes as as much sense as spreading fertilizer on the sidewalk.

Yea, possibly so.......however, if you buy a new car and it is below freezing last night.....are you going to just start it up and gas it hard? No.....because the engine is cold--right?

Same concept......his legs got cold on the bench......1st play called by Big Red calls for Felix to untilize his speed--in this case COLD hammies......

Just kinda upsets me about the situation........more then a little bit.

Hos, I believe you are missing my point.......Jones got cold standing on the bench.....he is a SPEED player......it could of attributed to his injury.

My point is IMHO, when he entered the game....he should get a chance to warm up just a little before calling his number.

Wow. I didn't know players were forced to stand on the sidelines and not move.

Silly me. I was under the impression that Felix had the ability to warm up, stretch, and stay loose... even while on the sidelines.

How do you insert someone in the game and warm him up just a little at the same time?

Oh that's right, you can't. There are only 3 downs to make 10 yards before you have to punt it away if you don't.

Honestly, this is silly. Players do this thing before a game they call stretching and warming up.

I understand what you mean and I really don't like the way they used Jones.
But if his legs were cold it is on him and not on the coaching staff.

You are better than me cause I still don't see through the Fog...
I really have problems with the way our coaching staff thinks.

I still don't understand why they didn't use Jones more often when healthy... or why the hell BJ is our backup etc...

Garett surprised me last year and I was wow... we finally have someone who will open up this offense.

And this year it completely turn the other way.

Will he work Barber so much he will be done before using Choice?
