As the site's resident furry, I'm obligated to start this thread. Great movie! Saw it last night with some friends. I genuinely think it's better than the first one.

Also, I'm excited to see what happens at MFF later this week as a result of the movie. The first one was a dynamic one for the furry fandom. This one is likely to be even more so.

The first Zootopia is a great movie. It’s one of my kids favorites. So, I’ll have to take the family to see this in theatres. I always worry about sequels. Some turn out bad.

This one was good. As a long time furry, I think it's on par or better than the first one, and I know several other furries who'd agree.

Well, if it has the furry seal of approval I’ll have to check it out.

It definitely does from a lot of furries. Looking forward to seeing what people make of it at MFF with the suits/costume additions people are going to have. The original caused a huge surge in the furry fandom, and I think this will too. I'll just say, the snake might really bring a tear to your eye at one spot. That's all I'll say.

The furry stuff I do is fun for me, and I thoroughly enjoy being a furry.
While trying to avoid the P word issues here, do you feel your hobby got a lot of bad press because most of American probably had no idea what a furry was until that fatal Utah incident with CK.

It did for a bit, and it was certainly an unfortunate situation that drew the wrong kind of attention. Unfortunately, we have had some of our conventions attacked such as one recently in Slovenia, and the one I'm going to tonight got attacked once. But, it's not something that deters us, and, if anything, we keep going because it's a fun hobby. We are the kind of hobby where we can naturally confuse people, but that's part of the fun. We basically take the cartoon world, and bring it to real life. In real life, I'm a person. Online or when I'm in suit, I basically become a cartoon horse, if that makes sense.

One of my later in life commitments is to try and not be so judgmental and turn into an ornery old man. Whatever floats your boat. As long as you're not hurting people, it's all good. Be safe.

For added context when it comes to furry conventions and the furry fandom, it's kinda like being a football fan/team, except you're both. Furry conventions are basically our football games. We have tons of people that show up and bring the energy. Some conventions like AnthroCon have parades that go through a section of the city (like Pittsburgh with AC) where the fans, so to speak, get to see us.

You're good, and yeah, it's meant to be something that's fun. Unfortunately, like anything, we have our nutcases, or, our Eagles fans do to speak. But from my many years of experience being a furry, I'd say the vast majority of furries are wonderful people.
